7: A Break

Sal's POV-

I was afraid Joe might have known about me and River because he has been acting weird all night and when Brian went to bed and Murray left that's when he wanted to talk to me. Maybe he didn't want the guys to know...

"What's up Joe, what do u wanna talk about?" I asked nervously .

"Do not what's up me Sal. She's 17 man! We talked about this" He says whispering and very angry.

"I know man i know, but i wanna be with her and she wants to be with me and i am not losing her, i love her" I say, upset.

"I know you love her man, but there is a huge age difference your 27 she is 17, it's not even legal" Joe says, disappointed.

"I know Joe, but i am not breaking up with her because of a number, who cares? i sure as hell don't" I say, getting frustrated.

"Sal you could go to jail if anyone else finds out about this" Joe says. 

"I don't care as long as i am with her. I don't care what happens to me i will die a happy man, i will go to jail a happy man, i do not care" I say, tears streaming down my face.

"Sal you can't be with her man you gotta break it to her somehow" Joe says.

"No Joe, i told you i'm not doing it" I say.

"If you don't the i'm telling Q, so it's either you or me" Joe says.

I sighed "Ok...okay i'll fucking break up with her..." I say.

"Sal this is just some small crush..why are you dating her?" Joe asks.

"I dont know Joe, i really don't..." I said, but i was lying. I knew exactly why i was with her and i was not gonna leave her, i don't care what he says.

River's POV-

When Joe took Sal into the kitchen i knew that he knew about us so i put my ear against the door to the kitchen and then i stood there and waited for them to come out.

"Uh....Uhh how much if that did you hear" Sal asked, walking out if the kitchen worried.

"I heard enough you jerk" I say, slapping him in the face.

"I deserved that...look Riv, i'm sor-" I cut him off.

"You know Sal, when me and my sister watched impractical jokers i always said i wanted to be with you, but she said you look like you would be the one to break someones heart and i guess she was right because you just broke mine" I say, tears starting to fall.

"Hey ,oh Riv what's the matter" Joe said, like he was confused.

"Don't ask me what's the matter when this is your fault!" I say very upset, but quiet so i wouldn't wake Brian. 

"I'm sorry" Joe said.

"Age is just a number Joe, oh Sal maybe we should just break up after one day. I'm going to my room, do not bother me assholes" I say, running upstairs.

Sal's POV-

"Thanks a lot Jo,e you just made me lose someone i told you i did not wanna lose" I say, tears running down my face.

"I'm sorry Sal, i didn't realize how in love you two were, go get her i back i will support you both" he said.

"Joe it's to late, she hates me you saw that" I say, pissed.

"Dude she is just upset, she still loves you" Joe says.

River's POV-

I heard Sal and Joe arguing down stairs and i couldn't help but cry even more than i already was but i stopped when i heard a knock on the door down stairs. On my way down i saw Joe open the door, it was Sal's ex girlfriend Ashley. I stopped crying when i heard the knock when i saw it was her i started crying again.

"Ashley what the hell are u doing here?" Sal asked.

"I came to get you back, i love you Sal i'm sorry for everything i did to hurt you, i changed" Ashley said.

"No Ashley, i have someone, i dont need you" Sal said.

"Oh really? who is it?" Ashley said.

"I think you saw her.." Sal said.

"How old is she like five Sal? She's an ugly, disgusting brat, she's just gonna use you" Ashley said.

"No shes not a fucking brat be nice and shes uh 23 and shes fucking amazing and i love her" Sal said.

When Sal said that i was amazing i hid behind the couch upstairs to see what else he would say then Brian came out of the room and didn't know what was happening.

"Guys what's going on?" Brian asked.

"Nothing Brian go back to bed" Joe said.

"Um okay then" Brian said, walking back into his room.

"What would she use me for ?" Sal asked.

"For fame and money" Ashley said.

"Ashley you did that she isn't even into fame stuff  and she makes her own money if she needs it we will offer, but she says no, so you have no clue what the hell your talking about!" Sal said.

"Whatever Sal just come back to me, you don't need that ugly brat" Ashley said.

"Don't you EVER call her that again she is not a brat and she is not ugly. She is the most beautiful girl i have ever seen in my entire life, she loves me for who i am not because i am famous and have money. That is all you loved me for and she is not crazy like you!" Sal said.

"And Joe i was never really gonna break up with her, i had what i wanted and i never wanted to lose it but i did, i will find it and get it back" Sal said.

When those words came out of Sal's mouth i felt so bad i couldn't help but cry. I ran downstairs spun Sal around and gave him a huge long sweet kiss, then slowly pulled away.

"Sal i'm sorry...i still wanna be with you, i'll always wanna be with you" I say.

"No, you have nothing to apologize for ok? I'm sorry i hurt you, i love you so damn much, now go up to your room and get some rest" Sal said, knowing i was tired.

"Okay" I say.

"Ugh you guys are disgusting" Ashley said closing the door.

As i was walking up the steps i thought for a moment and turned to Sal

"Sal can u stay the night?" I asked.

"Sure now go get some sleep" Sal said.

"Can u come with me? I wanna lay with you.." i ask shyly.

"Yeah of course, i'll be up in a bit" He smiled.

"Ok thanks" I said, running upstairs into my room. 

"Sal do not get any ideas remember this is Q's daughter man" Joe said.

"I know i know, well goodnight man" Sal said.

"Goodnight" Joe said, walking out the door.
