It was mid-season, and the doctors and nurses, were happy, as their stressful work, wasn't so stressful now. The happiness and hope of a good Christmas passed on through the doctors and nurses, to the patients, who echoed the others feelings, ending up as joyful as everyone else, no matter what their problem was, or the situation they were in.

Carlisle was just the same, as the rest of them, if not better. It improved exponentially, however, when he saw his son (Edward)'s reaction. The joy, the love, on his face, when it was revealed to him, that Bella would be okay, and could be released, just as long as she kept pressure off of the pot on her injured leg. It made him wish that he could look at someone the same way as Edward looked at Bella; that he could love someone, and for them to love him back; to be his life, his world...
Carlisle, being the compassionate person he was,, loved helping others, making them happy, so when he got the chance to help a certain someone, he didn't object...
