Somewhere on the road, between Sappho and Forks.

Chasing after the vans was hard in itself. One minute they were right in front of us, next they had turned a corner, and were fading off in the darkness of the night. We were going as fast as we could in this car, without getting noticed, or seeming out of the ordinary, which just made the whole task harder. I could only hope that Felicity could hold on for a bit longer.

Felicity's POV

From the moment I was chucked in the back of a van, all the aches and pains that I had, had got worse. My head was pounding, and I couldn't think straight. I put my head on the cool metal of the van, and tried to stop thinking so much. There was an aching pain in my side, so I put my hand there, to try to stop it hurting, or at least ease the pain. As my hand touched my side, some sort of liquid was there. I put it, in the only light that there was, as so far as I could see.
I held it up, and the red liquid shined in the light, and I knew that damn, I was in for a tough time. Of course, naturally when you see that the pain is because blood is coming out of your body, you automatically panic. And, guess what I did? Yeah, I panicked. Some part of me was fearing for my life, (of which I wouldn't have very much of, at the rate I was going,) and another part of me, was trying to calm myself down, (which wasn't working, so I had no idea why I was still trying). And then, in the midst of all the stormy thoughts and feelings that was my brain, there was a moment of calm. I pictured his face. Carlisle Cullen. Damn. For, if I was to die tonight, I was glad that my last thoughts were of him. And then, darkness drowned me.

Carlisle's POV

The moment of panic had started. Edward was starting to lose her, the signal that was of her conscious mind. It was the unsettling feeling inside of me, that was etched in both of our faces. For now, we could only hope.
