Weeks after the Potions Meltdown, as it was christened by Lia, Lily had successfully managed to maintain a cold and neutral attitude to Scorpius Malfoy as well as hiding her 'relationship' from everyone but Lia. It worked so much better than the previous attempt by the Head Boy and Girl.

"So Lils seeing anyone tonight?" Lia teased with a raised eyebrow as they sat down in charms,

"Maybe" Lily replied coolly looking down at the book on her desk, she began to read the selected passage before Lia let out a squeal of excitement. "Shut up!" Lily hissed at her as Flitwick turned to Lucilla.

"Miss Ambrose, please refrain from bursting with some sort of excitement" He said with a slight squeak to his voice.

"Of Course Sir" she replied with composure that should've been impossible, "So Lily" she whispered turning back to her best friend, "tell me the details,"

"No" Lily said without even looking up,

"So unfair" Lia muttered before turning to her text book.

"No, what's unfair is that Hugo and Duncan are still sleeping" Lily replied back,

"True, why aren't they here?" Lia replied in the same way, head down and reading,

"They faked an illness with the new range of Skiving Snackboxes" She explained, "They haven't even been released in stores yet"

"But can't you get those" Lia complained,

"Yes, but I want to study" Lily replied,

"Don't drag me down" Lia moaned again, but Lily just laughed quietly, "Not funny" She mumbled.

"Miss Potter" Flitwick called,

"Sir?" Lily said, her head whipping up and her face straightening out,

"You need to go see the Head Boy immediately" he replied giving her a note,

Lily,

Please come,

It's important

Scorpius

"Sir, I think it's more important for me to be in class" She said folding away the note and tucking it into her robes, and quickly scribbling a note she added: "I'll just pass this on,"

She left the classroom only to return back in less than half an hour, pale and slightly shaken.

"What's wrong?" Lia asked,

"Nothing" Lily replied with a fake, but bright smile.

The lesson continued, and as soon as the bell rang Lily was gone. Within minuets Lorcan was with her and in another 30 minuets he was gone and she was in the great hall for lunch.

"So Lily, how was Charms?" Hugo asked with a sly smirk to Duncan,

"Shut it Hugh" Lily snapped,

"Ooh that bad Lils?" He laughed, which was cut short with a glare from Lily.

"Hey, Lily, What's wrong?" Duncan asked, concern lacing his voice,

"Nothing Duncan" She said, mainly exasperated.

"Hey look, it's Al" Lia said,

"Great" Sarcasm pouring out of her voice.

"Lily. Now. Library" Albus angrily whispered before storming off. Lily sighed before standing up from the bench and following her older brother to the library.

"What is wrong with you?" Al shouted,

"I'm sorry?" Lily asked, utterly confused, "What are you on about Al?"

"Lorcan Scamander," he shouted, Lily's face fell,

"Oh... Look Al-" She began,

"Not done! What about that Duncan, or even Scorpius?" He continued to shout,

"Scorpius" she spluttered, "What?"

"The potions class, the note. You do know him and Rose, our cousin, are an item?" He continued,

"Oh Al stop!" she said,

"Lily! You're stringing along three different guys, one of which is taken and my best friend. That is so wrong!" He said beginning to calm down, but his frustration grew.

"Ughh, you are such a hypocrite! What about your little band of groupies? Huh?" She asked him, her temper rising,

"That, is totally different! You're a child practically! I'm an adult!" He said,

"You aren't much of one" She said, "and anyway, I am not a kid any more"

"You're 15, Lils. You're my little sister, I want to protect you." He said, his voice softening,

"You don't have to strangle me though Al, I love you but I want to live" Lily said her voice matching his,

"Just take care of yourself, Lils" Albus said giving his sister a hug,

"Hey Al, what were you doing when you were 15? I can't remember, but you and Dad had that small disagreement, right?" She asked pulling away.

"Yeah, a small disagreement. Right?" He gave a small, but cynical laugh. "See you, Lils." He said ruffling her hair, before leaving.

Huh? Al seemed pretty odd then. Strange.
