Alex POV

When the girl told us to ask Melody and Angie who she was, we went looking for Melody. Once we couldn't find her we all meet up and went to Angie's room, hoping that Melody was there. When we went in, Angie was gone. Right then Melody's dad was ordering people to stop them from leaving. We all went running outside. I saw her and I know she saw me. We were looking at each other in the eye. I can see that it was painful for her to look at me. Which hurt me, a lot. Once she drove off we went back to her dad's office, which he gives four of us keys to cars. He told us to go after them and make sure they're are safe. Before we left, her father gave us each guns to protect ourselves from the F gang. As we leave her father orders some of the other people to look around the neighborhood for the girls.

As I was driving Paco was trying to hack Melody's phone. Ugh. I can't stop thinking about the way she looked at me. Her eyes filled with hurt and hate. I swear if I knew it wasn't her I would have never did it. I shouldn't have even done it. But I waited to get into her underwear the moment I met her. She's so beautiful. "Didn't you hear them, they said to get the hell away." I say to the two guys stand in front of the girls table.
The guys start to walk away. Once they are on the other side of the room the we turn around.

"Hi. I'm Alex and this is Paco." I say.
"Hey. I'm Melody and this is Angie." One of the girls says.
"Are you guys sisters?" Paco asks.
Angie and Melody look at each other.
"Something like that." Angie's says.
"Are you guys brothers?" Angie ask.
"Something like that." I says.

"Found it." Paco says bringing back to earth.
"Okay contact the other guys and tell them." I say. Paco nods his head and instantly grabs his phone and starts making calls.
"I hope they are okay." Paco says in a worried voice.
"They have to be." I say to him. What if something happened and we are to late. What if the F gang captured them. Oh no, what if--NO stop thinking horrible thoughts.

After a few minutes all of us are on the same road headed to the girls.
"Here." Paco says pointing to a warehouse.
"Are y'all ready?" I ask the other guys. Before we got here Paco had created a four way call that way we could all talk to each other.
"Let's save them." Denilson says.
"Wait y'all I have a question. Are we going to like use the guns or are we just gunna walk in and ask for them?" Selvin says.
"Use the guns. Dumbass." We all say at the same time. I start to pull up into the drive way, we see a guard at the gate who starts to point his gun towards our car, Paco doesn't hesitate and he shoots the guy right in the head.

"Nice shot." I hear Denilson say.
"Yea that was nice." I hear Terrell say.
"Let's just get this gate open and get the girls." Paco says getting out the car to open the gate.
I understand why he doesn't want to talk about it.
"What's up with him?" I hear Chris.
"Look, this is the type of shit we had to do in our past. We didn't want to but we had to. Once we stopped taking orders we had to leave." I say to them before Paco jumps into the car.

Paco POV

In the past I did bad things. Yes I'm not scared to admit it. But both of us wanted to forget it. We didn't want to run, we wanted to face it head on but our mom's didn't want that. They had us run and our running caused people they we started to care for to be in danger.
"Roll your windows up!" Alex shouts. I look around and see that there are guards pointing guns at us. Shit. We toast.
Bang bang bang

I duck once I here the first gun go off, so does Alex. I look up to see if we got hit. We good. This nigga smart, the windows are bullet proof.

"I'm hit! I'm hit! I'm hit y'all!" We hear Ariel yell.
"Nigga you not hit. The windows are bullet proof." Denilson says it sounded like he also hit Ariel in the back of his head.
"I'm not hit! I'm not hit! I'm not hit y'all!" Ariel says. Gosh I can't believe these are the niggas I have to save the girls with.

"Okay, we all need to ready our guns. When your out, you need to say it so someone can cover you. Reload as fast as possible. If you in one spot for too long you're gunna get hit. So try to move around. Do y'all understand?" Alex says.
"Yes." They others say altogether.
"When we get out the car, get out on the drivers side use the doors to help protect yourself when we are all ready we move in. Okay." I say.
I look around and see the guys nodding their heads.
"Let's move!" Alex yells. He gets out and shoots three guys. Alex never missed any of his targets. I'm ashamed to say this but we were killers. And us liking and falling for these girls are making us killers again.

"Alright. Let's go." Denilson says walking up to the warehouse door.
When we are all at the door we pause.
"There are gunna be guys everywhere ready to kill us. So be ready." I say. Everyone nods. I push the door open and nothing happens. No gun shots, no guards, nothing. I look through the door and see the boss with guys ready to shoot. We all walk in slowly. We are all aiming at someone, and Alex being Alex had to aim his gun at the boss.
"We mean no harm we just here for two girls. And then we'll bounce." Alex says.
"Funny, how you say you mean no harm but killed 20 of my men within 10 minutes, now that is impressive, but you must die now." The boss says aiming a gun at Alex. Alex gets ready to shoot.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you." The boss says stepping to the side. Behind him is Angie aiming a gun at Alex. What the hell is going on!
"What the hell!" Denilson says looking at Angie. "I can't believe you. Protecting Melody's enemy." Denilson continues.

"He's not my enemy. He's my father." Angie says pulling the trigger. The bullet hits Alex in his arm.
"Stop!" I yell aiming the gun at her. I can't kill her but I can't let her kill Alex neither. She starts to lower the gun.
"Put it down and watch what happens." He dads says to her. She brings the gun back up, aiming it at me.
"Stop!" Denilson says shooting Angie's dad in the arm.
"Shoot em." Her dad says. She aims the gun at Denilson and shoots him in the arm. Then she aims it at Terrell.
"I need y'all to live or die." She says.
"Angie please. Don't--" I says
"Come closer and he dies." She says pointing the gun at Alex.
"Fine we'll leave but tell us where's Melody at." Angie's eyes get watery at the mention of Melody's name. She's frozen. I take a step forward.
Bang
"Paco." Alex says.
"I told you. One step closer and he was going to die."
"Alex!" I say running towards him. No no please. The only thing I have to family. I aim my gun at Angie and shoot her. She falls the the ground. Almost instantly the others start to shoot the guards. We carry our own to the cars and start heading back. Please Alex don't die.

We get into the car. I don't know where Angie shot him. The only blood I see is from his arm.
"Paco. You need to save Angie. She didn't shoot me. Well she did but not where I could die. She left a message. It said 'play dead'. So when she 'shoot me' I played as if I was dying."
"Wait. So Angie is on our side." Terrell asked. We never hung the phones up. We just left them in the car.
"Yeah. She shot us for a reason." Alex says wrapping his arm.
"She protecting Melody. From her dad. How did I not see it." I say.
"But where is Melody?" Ariel ask.
"Somewhere in the warehouse." Chris says.
"Yeah, but where." Selvin says.
"Wait. When we went in I saw a car that was shot up. What if--" Tito says
"What if Melody got hit and the only way to save her was for Angie to join her dad by his side." Denilson says finishing it up.
"We need to go back. But not by force this time."
"Secretly." We all day together. Then turn our cars around and head back.
