It had been a few days since Keith had hung out with his "new buddies" as his mom said. He had actually had lots of fun for the first time in a while.
That day he managed to get Hunk and Pidge's numbers and now he got constant texts from a group chat he was added to. Not that he minded. The constant buzzing was kinda annoying but other than that it was fine.
For the first time that morning he had decided to see what all the buzz was about.

Lance: GoOD MORNING ☀️
Hunk: Good morning Lance!
Pidge: Hi.
Lance: WOW. So much enthusiasm Pidgeon.
Pidge: it's too early
Hunk: uhhh. It's like 12 am
Pidge: yikes! Its only 12 I better get back to bed
Lance: right. Cause you don't get up till 2 which usually turns into 2:30
Pidge: 3:30 actually but yeah
Hunk: how are you going to get up for school when it comes around?
Pidge: idfk

Keith decided to text back after scrolling through the conversation.

Lance: Keef!
Keith: Lance. No.
Pidge: lol

Hunk: looks like you gotta nickname
Keith: no
Lance: sorry. It's official.
Keith: fine

Keith sets his phone down and walks to the bathroom quickly brushing his teeth. After setting his toothbrush back he stared at his reflection in the mirror. Examining the slight bags under his eyes, he sighs and walks back into his room.
He picks back up his phone seeing he has a direct message from Lance. He opens his phone and checks it.

Lance: we should hangout again
Keith: yeah
Keith: why didn't you just ask in the group chat?
Lance: I was thinking just me and you could do something...
Keith: oh yeah what day?
Lance: Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are the days I don't have work
Keith: right. Cause being flexible is a job now
Lance: it is! and that's not funny!
Keith: right. Sorry
Keith: how bout Friday?
Lance: ya! Let's do it. Is there anything you wanna do in particular?
Keith: not really. Did you?
Lance: kinda. I really want to go see that new movie with that movie star Allura something-or-other in it. We could go see that
Keith: yeah that would be fun
Lance: great see ya tomorrow then
