This story is about a girl named Amina & her aunt Violet who are both in hiding and have to fight for love and life.
"Why the hell does this say, Mason?!" Aunt V yelled
"Yeah m- Oh wait I already knew I can't be mad." I leaned up kissing his cheek before going back to the dining room to finish eating.
I looked over to see Mason about to go outside "Woah Woah where are you going?" I got up stopping him
"I got it." I nodded He made his way out the door and so did I
He stopped "go back inside Amina." He demanded
"You can confront him with me or I can do it by myself," I said as I kept walking
He groaned catching up with me
We got to the pier but didn't see anyone. There was a ringing coming from the Bush.
Mason walked over pulling out a phone. He looked at me I shrugged
He answered "Hello?"
"..."
"You're out of your God damn mind!"
"..."
"Try it and I'll rip your head off!"
"..."
"We'll see about that." He hung up
I walked up behind him wrapping my arms around his waist
"You have to tell me something, Mason."
"What's that?"
"What in the world is your last name?"
"Moretti baby." He laughed wrapping his arm around me after throwing the phone in the ocean.
"Italian?! You are not Italian."
He chuckled "Yes I am." Mind blown
We walked back to the house laughing at me. How rude.
"So who's after you wolf?" Aunt V asked sitting on the couch
She looked mad
He rubbed the back of neck taking a seat on the couch in front of her
"So you see... No one is after me." She gave him a "you think I'm stupid" look
"It was my old pack. Wolves travel in packs but Melissa and I are different."
She crossed her legs leaning forward "How so?"
"Something happened at the pack so Melissa and I had to leave. So now our pack is being run by our father and stepmother but they want us to come back."
"They found out that I found my mate and they're upset that I haven't come back yet."
She shook her head "I'm guessing that Amina is your mate." He nodded looking over at me
I stood there shocked "Oh I know you didn't just call me your friend!" I was about to cuss him out
He stood up "No no that's not what that means-"
"So you calling me stupid?!"
"No hell no mate is a wolf thing, how do I explain this? So a mate is what humans call true love or soul mate." I gushed
"Oh aww okay nevermind sorry continue. I'll just be not in here." I left going into the kitchen to see Melissa eating my cookies and cream ice cream
My eyes widened "How dare you?!" She froze "It's fat-free!" She said showing me the label
"Ew Oh okay, you can have it." I said disgustedly shooting it away from my face
"Heyyyyyyyy Mel," she looked at me raising an eyebrow
"What weird thing do you want me to do?"
I burst out laughing "Nooo I just wanted to go swimming again before we leave again?"
"Yeah, but why would we leave?"
"A letter literally came to our doorstep."
"Ohhhh you right."
"Mel wanna let me do your hair?" I asked as we changed out of our swimsuits into big shirts
"Are you trying to shave it?" She glared holding her hair close
"No." I chuckled
"Well then yes!" She lit up
We went into my bathroom so I could start her hair.
"Mel, are you virgin?"
"No... Why?"
"I'm not trying to lose it or anything. I'm honestly just asking." I made clear knowing how she thinks
"With how yall act I'll believe it when I see it."
"Do you think we should slow down?"
"I don't know. I don't feel like you guys are doing anything wrong. You guys have been dating for what like 3 months?"
"Your guess is as good as mine." I shrugged I didn't see a point on counting or remembering the day we made it official.
I do remember I was in the hospital I think.
"Woah was Mason the wolf that gave me an asthma attack?" She nodded
"Oh great wow."
"He was terrified it wasn't funny then but it's funny now!" She laughed "He thought he killed you!" I laughed why is this funny
"Okay, I'm done." I said giving her a mirror to see the masterpiece.

He walks in the bathroom not too long after seeing me sitting on the edge of the tub
"What's wrong?" He asked taking a seat next to me
"I have this bad feeling in my stomach." I said laying my head on his shoulder
"Why?"
"I was too happy." He looked confused
It's true every single time I have a good day or I'm happy something happens it's like God's giving me a reality check.
"Don't think that way." He said gently kissing my forehead "Everything will be fine
