Aunt V P.O.V.

"Yes thank you. I was just checking to make sure she made it on the plane safely..." I waited for a response

"Yes, ma'am she did."

"Thank you. Have a nice day." I said hanging up

I'm glad

I pulled out the piece of paper that held Mason's pack number

I dialed the number

I realize that it's the middle of the night but this is important

"Hello how can we help you?" A voice came on the phone

"Morretti." I spoke in the phone there was silence then it started ringing again

"Hello?" Another voice answered

"I need to talk to your alpha."

"Can I ask who's speaking?"

"V."

"V?" She asked confused

I rolled my eyes "Could you hurry up girl?!" I stressed

She gasped putting me on hold

I swear if she was here in person I'd-

"Aunt V?!" Mason's voice erupted into the phone

I flinched pulling the phone away from my ear "Wolf calm the hell down."

He sighed "Sorry. Are you guys coming back?"

I cleared my throat "Did you take over?" I asked

"Yes."

I nodded "Good." I paused "Amina is on her way to you now okay... I just put her on a plane."

"Okay." I could tell he was trying to hide it but I could hear his smile

I smiled a little "If this doesn't go the way I want it to I need to know that you will protect-"

"Always." He stated cutting me off

"Good. I have to go now." I said as I was getting closer to my destination

"Come home safe Aunt V. We can protect Amina together." He said sadly

"Yep." I choked out hanging up the phone

I tried to control my breathing knowing that I was about to cry

It's okay Violet. You did all you could. I thought to myself but it didn't seem good enough

I pulled over parking my car out of sight

I pulled out my mask from the glove compartment putting it on

I took the keys out of the ignition opening the door to get to the trunk

I opened the truck pulling out my black bag

I grabbed all that I needed before closing the trunk

Do I have a plan? Sorta.

I think Amina rubbed off on me way too much

Amina's P.O.V.

I hid behind a tree watching as Aunt V loaded her weapons

I pulled out the two pistols I took from her bag checking them to make sure they were loaded

I heard aunt V start taking her steps as the leaves started to crack from her weight

How am I gonna walk?

If I can hear her she can definitely hear me...

I watched as she got a little bit further away as she headed to the office

It wasn't the house or mansion like before no it's a building

Like an office building

I stood up slowly sliding my feet under the leaves

I took slow steps as I slid through the leaves trying to make as little noise as possible

It seemed like Aunt V didn't care because she was just walking right up to the building

I quickened my pace seeing her walk around to the back of the building

I walked around the building watching as she took down the two guards standing at the door

I tripped looking down

Oh never mind three

She walked in swiftly getting to the next guy

I knew she didn't need my help with that but I just wanted to watch her back

I looked around before spotting what I wanted

I turned around running back to the car

I made it to the car pressing my face against the window looking for it

"Yes!" I yelled spotting it in the backseat

I took off my jacket wrapping it around my hand before punching the window shattering it into pieces

I grabbed the bag hoisting it on my shoulder before running back to another building

I finally made it to the back of the building wondering how in the world I was gonna get to the top floor

I placed the bag on the ground unzipping it

"Come on aunt V give me something." I begged looking around in the bag

"Yes!" I yelled pulling out her little rope gun thing

She never taught me the name

Or how to use it honestly

"Is there a weight limit on this thing?" I wondered looking around it

Do I want to take the chance of this or going into the building and getting caught by cameras and going to jail??

How about neither.
