"I love you too." I said hugging her close
"I'm gonna do this alone baby girl." She finally said looking me in the eye
I knew she was hiding something
I shook my head "No you're not." I said pulling away and grabbing my bag
She sighed "I am." She placed her hand on the bag "I prepared some things for you. In the drawer over there."
"Aunt V," I went to say
She shook her head "Look first."
I walked over opening the drawer to see a plane ticket, cash, and a piece of paper with an address written on it.
"That's Mason's address." She smiled
"I know I've kept you guys apart longer than I should've," she said placing her hands gently on my face and wiped my tears "I just wanted to spend some time with you." She smiled sadly
"I can go after." I begged holding her hand
She shook her head "Amina it's been 4 months okay? You're finally 18 so Go. Your bags are packed so all you have to do is get on that plane in a few hours."
"When are you coming back?" I asked as she turned her back
"Soon." Liar
"I've never been separated from you. This is gonna be dangerous aunt V."
She nodded taking a seat on the bed "That's why you can't come with me."
I sighed giving up "Okay." I smiled trying to fight my sadness
"I'll drive you to the airport." I nodded grabbing my bags and placing them in the car
We arrived at the airport but I didn't want to get out of the car
