Mason's P.O.V.

"Mason!! Amina's here!" I heard Melissa yell from downstairs

I jumped up bolting out the door "Where?!"

I looked out the window but saw no one

I turned to see Melissa doubled over laughing "She was right," she said as she started to calm down "Just like a dog."

I smacked my teeth going back towards the stairs

Melissa and I had to leave first to the new house while Amina and Ms. V stayed back to... I don't really know maybe burn the house.

But they've been gone for far too long

"Mason its literally been a week. Relax." If she tells me to relax one more time I swear

Why can't they come back now damn it?! I thought before there was a knock

Amina's P.O.V.

"Alright," Aunt V said on the phone writing something on a piece of paper, "Thanks, Miles." She hung up

"When are we gonna get to the house?" I asked eating my Doritos in the front seat with my legs kicked up

"Soon." She said starting the car

I placed my feet down before closing my chips "Aunt V?"

"What are you hiding?" She always acted like this when she's hiding something

She gave me a glance before going back to driving

"Aunt V? Where are we going?" I asked getting anxious

"Colorado." Wait...pause

"Wait but Mason and Melissa are in-"

"Yes, I know. But we can't keep moving like this. We have to solve this problem. Help me do this and we can go back."

"What exactly are we doing?" I asked getting even more nervous

"You'll see."

Mason's P.O.V.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I asked my father beta in the pack Jared

"We need to talk." He stated before my father stepped out from behind him along with our pack warriors

"Who's at the-" I heard Melissa say as she came up behind me

My dad's eyes brightened "Hey Melli," he went to take a step forward

I blocked the doorway stopping him in his tracks "No. Let's talk outside-"

"It's Fine Mason." Melissa said placing her hand on my arm "They can come in."

I looked at her before she gave me a nod

I stepped out the way allowing them to come in "Living room."

My father and Jared came in taking a seat on the couch while the guards stayed outside

"We received a call." My father stated pulling his phone out and handing it to me

"What does that have to do with us?" I asked pushing his phone back to him

He sighed "It was from woman named Veronica and that you would know her by Ms.V..."

Why would she call them?

"What did she want?"

"I kicked Beth out of the pack." He said looking over at Mel "That woman helped to open my eyes. She helped ne realize how bad Beth was for us."

Melissa scuffed in annoyance "If only you realized that earlier huh?"

"I know there's nothing I can say that will ever make up for what happened,"

"Oh, you mean allowing her to kick me out of the pack?! Believing her over me?! I told you that I didn't hit that woman!"

"I know, I know. And I'm so sorry I didn't think and I'm sorry. You can hate me as long as you want to but please come back... I need my kids." He pleaded with Mel

"I need time to think." She tossed her hands up leaving the room

"You heard her. Get out." I said opening the front door

My father sighed "We leave for home tomorrow and I'd really like if you guys were there."

I rolled my eyes shooing them out

I watched them get into separate cars before I closed the door heading upstairs to Mel.

I rushed in to see her laying on the bed upside down

I pulled a chair up causing her to sit up straight

"What do want to do Mel?" She sighed running her hand through her hair

"What about Amina?" She asked

"I don't know. I don't know what Ms.V's plan is..."

"Okay." She said nodding her head and getting out of bed

"Okay what?"

"Let go back." She said pulling a suitcase out of the closet

"Are you sure?" I asked

She nodded "I miss home." She smiled
