"Lady Sanada... It's time for your supper with Yukimura sama before he goes to war..." one of the maids entered Lina's chamber an hour later...
"I'm not hungry." Lina answered curtly as she grabbed her third peach from the bowl in front of her.
"Erm but... Yukimura sama is waiti-..."
"Tell him I don't want to eat with him. Tell him I want to be alone." Lina spat as the maid trembled in fear before nodding and leaving..
Lina was about to reach for her fourth peach when someone slid open her door.
"Did you not understand what I just said?!?" Lina snapped as she looked up and came face to face with red eyes..
"You seem hungry... little lady..." Saizo said calmly as Lina's eyes softened at the man before her...
"Sorry Saizo... I don't know why but I'm feeling extremely cranky nowadays..."
"Well let Saizo guess.. Does it has anything to do with Lord Masayuki?"
Lina gave a wry smile.
"Well aren't you a smart boy now Saizo."
"Why thank you for the compliment Hime sama." Saizo chuckled as Lina rolled her eyes.
"You know how much that title gets to me."
"You don't seem to have a problem using your authority to shoot down Lord Masayuki." Saizo grinned as Lina smirked, standing up and walking towards him.
"You know I'm not always like that."
"I know."
"So... what brings you here? You know you're not really allowed in my chamber aren't you? People are gonna get the wrong idea if they see us alone."
"Can't a ninja check on Lady Sanada? After all I am serving the Sanada clan little lady."
"Well... That's a pretty good reason actually..."
"Hey wait... Is it me or did you put on weight?" Saizo looked at her stomach as he grinned. "Oh my bad, I think little lady is getting fat!"
Lina's cheeks puffed in anger as she started throwing pillows at him.
"I AM NOT FAT!"
"Little lady is getting fat!"
"AM NOT!"
Lina started chasing Saizo around the room and she slipped on a fallen pillow...
She was embracing for the impact when she fell strong arms around her waist, pulling her backwards into a strong chest..
"Careful little lady..." Saizo said softly as his hands tightened a bit around her stomach...
He suddenly let her go and Lina turned around as she beat his shoulder.
"Thanks a lot for almost making me fall!"
"Well I saved you didn't I?" Saizo grinned as Lina grumbled under her breath.
"Yea you did so... thanks..."
"You're most welcome little lady." Saizo smiled as he started walking out of her room.
"Where are you going?"
"To war. See ya' soon little lady.." he said as he turned around, about to close the sliding door but he noticed her expression..
"Don't worry Lina... I'll protect that little lord with my life." Saizo told her gently as Lina gave a grateful smile...
Saizo slid the door closed and a figure appeared beside him as they walked towards the dining hall to have supper before their mission...
"So did you manage to do it? You know I'm not really close to her so it would be weird if I ask for her permission." the figure asked Saizo as he stared ahead emotionlessly.
"I didn't ask for her permission if you wanna know."
"I don't know how you did it but you know I don't have a reason to enter her chamber and have a long chat with her.."
"It wasn't that long of a chat.."
"Nevertheless, did you do it?"
"Yes."
"So?"
"Yes."
"Hmph. I knew my instincts were right." Yuki smirked as she closed her eyes.
"You are truly a talented ninja... Nee chan..."
"I'm just a poison ninja..."
"And a medical ninja..."
"Recently only..."
"Hmm..." Saizo gave a smile of approval as he slid open the door to the dining hall.
