Lina's P.O.V.:
"Is that all?" Kageie asked as he walked beside me, carrying five plastic bags in each hand.
Meanwhile Yoshichi was carrying a plastic bag full of ice cubes in his left hand while his right hand is free...
"Hmm..." I continued studying the list. "We need to get five packets of rice..."
"F-f-five?!?" Kageie spluttered.
"Yea, the jumbo sized ones..."
"J-j-jumbo?!?" Yoshichi stammered.
My eyes then softened.
"I'm sorry to have to trouble you guys like this... Never mind you can just head back to the restaurant and pass those plastic bags to my staff. I'll carry the rice-..."
"What?! No!" Kageie scoffed at me. "Letting Hime sama carry stuff when she's right before my eyes? No way!"
"Pfft yea! Even if you are not the princess you are still a woman! We can't just let you do this alone!" Yoshichi agreed passionately.
"It's really fine! I can mana-..."
"No! We can't listen to your orders on this!" Kageie huffed.
" That's absolutely right! Now come on Hime sama! Let's head off to buy the rice!" Yoshichi said cheerfully as I led the way with a smile...

Kageie and Yoshichi helped me put all the ingredients in the restaurant's kitchen and are about to go back to the inn where they and Lord Kenshin are staying.
Apparently Lord Kenshin left the restaurant while we were doing our shopping and so the two retainers had to go back to the inn by themselves...
"I'm so sorry to have to take up so much of your time till Lord Kenshin has already left.." I bowed to Kageie and Yoshichi as we stood outside my restaurant.
"No problem Hime sama. It's really no big deal." Kageie gave me a smile.
"It's an honour to serve you even if it was just running errands today!" Yoshichi grinned as he bowed respectfully.
"Lina chan!" Yukimura kun's voice suddenly called out to me.
I looked to behind Kageie and Yoshichi and saw Yukimura kun walking over to us...
"Oh Yukimura kun! How was traini-.." I didn't get to finish his sentence when I saw who he was with...

Yukimura's P.O.V.:
"Who are they?!" I demanded as I stared down the guys standing before my wife.
"They-they-they ar-are Lord Kenshin's re-retainers Yukimura kun..." my wife's voice answered me and Akihime who was beside me, scoffed.
"If they're just retainers to Lord Kenshin then why are you stuttering Princess? It seems to me you're guilty and nervous about something."
That comment got to me...
"Is that even the truth?!" I turned to my wife and demanded when I saw Lina chan suddenly cowered under my raised voice...
Ahh shit... Crap crap crap!!! I did it again!!! Why do I always scare her without thinking of my actions?!?
"Watch your voice Sanada Yukimura. You may be Hime sama's husband but I won't tolerate any kind of disrespect shown to the Princess." the guy with silver hair suddenly spoke and grabbed my collar...
I clenched my jaw angrily...
"You stay away from my wife!" I growled as the guy with light brown hair yanked his friend away.
"Kageie! Stop! You're gonna get us into trouble with Lord Kenshin!" he whisper yelled as the guy, now I know is named Kageie, narrowed his eyes at me while talking back to his friend.
"So what Yoshichi?! Apparently Sanada here doesn't know how to treat his wife with respect! What the hell is he doing going out with another woman when his wife needed help running errands for her restaurant huh?!?"
I clenched my fists when Akihime's voice sounded again.
"Come on Yukimura sama! This Kageie guy is not even worth it! Besides it takes two hands to clap right? They're both here and so is Lina! Doesn't that seem suspicious???"
"Hey lady! Please stop cooking up lies! Kaegie and I were ordered by Lord Kenshin to help out Hime sama with her errands today!" the guy named Yoshichi, started raising his voice at Akihime when Kaegie's red eyes suddenly narrowed to dangerous slits at her...
"You can insult me but don't you dare slander the Princess like that!" the guy suddenly spat as he struggled in Yoshichi's grasp but the latter increased his grip around his friend...
Kageie's eyes suddenly whipped to me as he was still struggling...
"And you! What kind of husband are you to be walking around with a woman such as her!" he growled as he nudged in Akihime's direction.
What? Hey it's not my fault! Father told me to train Akihime then I told her I wanted to fetch Lina chan and she decided to tag along!
I was about to answer the guy when Lina chan's voice broke the tension.
"It-it's okay Kageie... Yoshichi... I can handle it from here..."
I whipped my head to my wife before glaring back at the guy...
"So Kageie is your name eh... You're Lord Kenshin's samurai who's known for his bloodlust aren't you..."
There was a glint in his scarlet eyes but somehow... I'm up for the challenge...
"NO STOP!" Lina chan's voice suddenly broke the atmosphere again as she rushed towards me and wrapped her arms tightly around my waist...
Wh-wh-what?!?
How can my wife be so adorable and make me blush as if we're still dating??? I have no idea how she can manage to do that...
"Yukimura kun... Please..." she whispered as she buried her face in my chest...
I heard Akihime scoffed but ignored it and looked Kageie in the eyes.
"For my wife... I'll let you off..." I said in a low but firm voice.
I thought Kageie wasn't going to accept my answer but to my surprise, he did.
"Under Hime sama orders, I will stop." he said curtly before shoving Yoshichi aside and walking off...
"I'm so sorry Hime sama to have caused this commotion..." Yoshichi apologised as he bowed before my wife.
"It's-it's okay..." my wife's voice came out muffled as she was still burying her face in my chest.
Yoshichi's eyes suddenly bore into my blue ones emotionlessly as he spoke.
"I will not be apologising to you. For a married man to be alone with a woman who is rumoured to be his fiancée while his wife is out working hard... Is simply unforgivable."
I was taken aback by his words as Lina chan's body froze against me.
"W-what... H-how did-..." I stuttered but didn't finish my sentence.
"Lord Masayuki already made an announcement few days back to the other Lords and Daimyos." he said coldly before walking off in Kageie's direction...
