Yukimura (left) and Masamune (right)...

*~*

Yukimura's P.O.V.:

Ugh why are all of these happening to me?!?

"Nice job Sanada." I heard my rival congratulate me in a sarcastic tone.

I whipped my eyes to him angrily.

"You were the one flirting with my wife so I have every right to be angry!"

"Well then be angry at me, by all means be my guest. But you didn't have to be angry at her did you?"

I was at a loss for words when Masamune smirked at me.

"I guess it's true when I heard the rumours from your people... You are mistreating your wife..."

Saizo's exact comment of that repeated in my head...

"Tsk... Little lord... Mistreating your wife eh..."

Am... I... really...?

But I feel she's been extremely emotional nowadays...

It's like Masamune just read my mind as he answered me.

"She has every right to be feeling the way she is... She never once tried to use her authority and overrule the Sanada clan's rules and traditions..."

"Well she has complaint to me about the ways of the Sanada!" I find myself protesting to my rival.

Masamune just stared me down as he closed his eye.

"*sigh* You don't get it do you Sanada? She complaint to you as a wife. Not as a princess. She never once used her title to get you to listen to her... And yet here you are abusing your position as her husband just because she has never used her royalty status to demand anything from you despite knowing how loyal you are to Japan itself..."

I...

How... could I have not noticed all of this???

"Wait..." I asked suspiciously. "How do you know what I argued with her about?!"

"It's written all over both of your faces."

"!"

"As much as I love her too, the two of you are meant for each other... Both of you are just too easy to read."

I was about to answer him when yellings suddenly interrupted us.

"What was that?!" Akihime who has been quiet all this while, suddenly spoke.

A few retainers hurried to us with frantic looks.

"Yukimura sama! Sasuke is missing!" a retainer spoke.

"Huh?" I questioned as I tried to calm him down but the other retainers threw sentence after sentence at me.

"We saw Lady Sanada crying and going to the Kirigakure's shack!"

"We wanted to stop her to ask her what's going on!"

"We were about to catch up to her when unknown warriors appeared from the shadows and surrounded Lady Lina and Sasuke!"

My blood ran cold when I heard the news...

"What happened?! Where is Sasuke?! Where is she?!?" I yelled as I grabbed the collar of the nearest retainer.

"The unknown warriors didn't attack us but one of them grabbed Lady Sanada along with Sasuke! His comrades took off with him before we can strike!"

"Where the fuck is Saizo?!? Yuki?!? Hotaru?!? Lord Shingen?!? My father and nii san?!?" I growled in frustration as I continued shaking the retainer in my grasp.

"Mi-milord! All of them were out as they received a tip off regarding a huge rebellion upstart in the province so they attended to it!"

"Huh?!? Even Nobuyuki nii san?!?"

"A-a-apparently it's a huge rebellion! The same rebels that are against the new era!"

"Rest assured, the Date will aid the Takeda and Sanada clan in this matter." Masamune's voice suddenly interrupted and I snapped my eyes to him.

"I didn't say you have my permission to form a pact with me!" I snarled but Masamune maintained his expressionless face.

"You don't have any choice Sanada. How will you explain to everyone how your wife and Sasuke were kidnapped right in Ueda castle when you are present? You need all the help you can get."

I clenched my jaw in extreme frustration as I narrowed my eyes at Masamune.

"Fine. But don't take this as an invitation to get close to my wife!"

Masamune continued looking at me with that emotionless face.

"Don't worry Sanada. She's not even interested in me. She's in love with a fool called Yukimura."
