Lina's P.O.V.:
I can't do this...
I held back my tears as I hugged Kojirou tightly... He's lying down beside Sasuke on the bed that I earlier woke up on...
"Hime sama... Everything will be fine... Nii san will definitely save us... Furthermore knowing that you're here... He won't ever fail..." Kojirou whispered to me comfortingly but I don't know why I'm so emotional...
Yukimura kun... Even though you've hurt me deeply, I still think of you in the depths of my despair...
"I know Masamune will do his best not only for me... But for you too Kojirou..." I answered him softly as I stared into his green eyes, my own welling up with tears. "But... It's Lord Yukimura I want to come after me..."
Kojirou's green eyes wavered a bit as he smiled back gently at me.
"My nii san is a great man too you know. Sure our mother shunned him away while growing up but ever since my father died, nii san has proved to be an extremely capable leader of the Date clan.. The fact that my mother's ice cold heart thawed in recognition of his skills proves just that... She even started matchmaking him as she's worried that he won't find a wife with his busy schedule..."
"I... I know... I know that Masamune is a wonderful person... I... I also know... about the matchmaking part... That's one of the reason why he rejected me the first time though..."
"Huh???" Kojirou's eyes widened in surprise. "Nii san rejected you before?! I thought he was the one hopelessly infatuated with you Lady Lina!"
I gave a soft chuckle as I thought back to that memory..
"Your mother didn't want Masamune to be with me so she was out for me... She wanted Masamune to marry someone of similar status to him... Honestly, I don't feel any negative feelings towards your mother... I know every mother wants their best for their child..."
"But since everyone knows you're a princess now, surely my mother will be agreeable for you to be with Masamune nii san..."
"I know but... I love Lord Yukimura instead..." I spoke as my one of my hands unconsciously rested onto my stomach. "When it's my turn to be a mother, I won't be surprised if I'll do the same thing as Lady Yoshihime..."
Just as I finished my words, war cries were heard from outside and the chilling sound of blades clanging and people screaming pierced my ears...
Kojirou and I quickly rushed to the window and tried to open it but it was nailed shut...
I then rushed over to Sasuke and roughly shook him awake.
"Sasuke! Sasuke! Wake up! We need to find a way out of here! A war has begun!" I called out desperately and Sasuke's eyes shot open as he quickly sat up, tugging at my yukata sleeve.
"W-war?!? Where is sensei?!? Yukimura sama?!? Sexy sensei?!? Hotaru?!?"
"We were kidnapped by the rebel group Sasuke!"
"Wait rewind a bit. Hime sama you said to Nagahide there's no way out of here that's why it would be safe to leave us three here..." Kojirou asked in confusion as I stood up from the bed.
"I know but... we have to try... right?!?" I asked, trying my best not to show the two boys how scared I am...
I don't want to die here... I don't want my last memory of Yukimura kun to be fighting with him...
