Chapter 3: Date Night

-<Jason's POV>-

After she left Mitch was the first one to say something.

"Lexi's hot." he said in a confirming way. We all laughed.

"Well I guess I should get ready to go."

"But you have two hours!" said Adam.

"But Adam! I need to buy a brand new suite, and new shoes, and take an hour to put on my makeup!" I said jokingly. We like making fun of girls for doing that but I don't hate them for it. Alesa threw a pillow at me.

"Jason! Don't forget about how we have to do our hair too!" she said. All the girls laughed and so did we. They've accepted our joking with them and they even joke about themselves.

We hung out for an hour and a half and I went upstairs to get ready. I came down in a suite and tie. I grabbed my keys and went out to pick her up. I got there and we got in the car.

"You look beautiful!" I said to her because well, she did.

"Aw thanks! You like nice too!" I smiled at her and she smiled back.

"So, you know how you showed us all that picture of Lexi?"

"Yeah?"

"Well, as soon as I got back from dropping you off Mitch said she was hot."

"Really? The second you I told her about Mitch and showed her a pic of him she said 'Holy hotness'. It was pretty funny."

"We should totally get them to meet up sometime." I said.

"Yeah we should. But for now let's focus on us." she said and held my hand. The one that wasn't on the wheel.

"Here we are!" I said. I picked out a parking spot and opened her door for her.

"Thank you. Your such a gentleman."

I smiled and she held my hand as we walked in.

"Reservation for Jason and (i.n.)." I said when we reached the counter.

"Okay right this way please." She said and brought us to a balcony on the second level. It was a really fancy place.

"Wow Jason this is beautiful. She said as we watched the sun set. The waitress came back.

"Hello guys I'm Kristy and I'll be your waitress today. Can I get you something to drink?"

"Yes I'll take a water for now." She said.

"I'll take the same." I said.

"Alright I'll be right back." she said and walked off. I started to look at the menu.

"So what are you gong to get?" I asked her.

"Um, I think I'll get a steak. What about you?"

"I'm going to get this chicken and rice thing." I said pointing at the menu.

"So (i.n.), what brings you to California? Have you always lived here or..."

"I moved here right after I graduated high school. Lexi and I wanted to record YouTube videos together so we decided to move. Our original choice wasn't Cali but I wanted to get a job in computer programming so right now I work at Google as a secretary and go to collage for programming. The employees there give me tips all the time. How did you end up here?"

"Well.." I explained everything about Team Crafted (I figured if your reading this you'd know how Team Crafted wound up in Cali cuz I'm to lazy to write it.)

"Wow that's really cool!" she said.

"Yeah. I never in a million years would have thought I'd end up here." I said and the waiter came back over.

"Here are your drinks." she said setting them down on the table. "Are you ready to order?" I looked at (i.n.) and she nodded. We ordered our food and talked for a bit. After we ate, I took her out somewhere special. We pulled up and I took the blindfold I had put I her off.

"Here we are!" I said. We were in a pull-in movie theater. I have a pickup truck so I put a blanket down in the back. I set 2 pillows up against the back and I "yawned" putting my arm around her shoulder. She cuddled into me and I rest my head on hers. The movie was Grownups 2 and after the movie we went for a walk along the line of stores. It was pretty at night. We held hands as we walked down the sidewalk. We got to the end of one block where the was a small garden with a gazebo. (Gazebo ooh la la) we sat down in it and she leaned her head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arm around her. We sat there in silence listening to whatever noises the night brought. I decided that I had to. Now was my chance. I tie to look at her and she looked at me. She was smiling and I smiled back.

"Can I ask you something?"

"Sure Jason!"

I paused but then just let it out.

"Will you be my girlfriend?"

She looked shocked at first but it quickly turned to happy.

"Yes!" she said and hugged me.

"I love you Jason."

"I love you too."

We walked back to the car and I drove her home. I pulled up to the house but she didn't move.

"I had a lot of fun tonight." she said. She always seems to be smiling no matter what.

"Yeah me too."

I stared into her eyes. Her beautiful eyes. I could look into them all day. Before I knew it our faces were inches apart. Her expression quickly turned from happy to hurried.

"I uh, gotta go. See you tomorrow Jason!" she climbing out of the car."

"Bye." Was all I could make out. We didn't kiss but maybe she just wasn't ready. I drove away and when I got home I went straight to bed.

-<Your POV>-

You walk into the house more excited than ever but your sure to be quiet as to not wake up Lex. You hear a bang from the kitchen. You run in to find the kitchen a mess and Lexi in a chief hat. She turned to you and waved her whisk at you.

"Hey how'd it go?"

"I can't leave you home for five minutes can I?" you say.

"Nope!" she said smiling.

"So how did it go you didn't answer me!"

"It went great." you say dreamily.

"Oh and guess what Lex!"

"What?!"

"He asked me to be his girlfriend!"

You both screamed in excitement.

"Set the scene for me!"

"Okay okay! So he took me out to dinner and after we went to one of those drive in movies and he has a pickup truck so we laid a blanket and pillows don't and laid in the back. After we went for a walk through town and we went to a little garden thing where you walk over a small bridge that goes over a small stream and it leads to a gazebo. We sat down and he asked me to be his girlfriend!"

"Oh my god girl! Did you have your first kiss?"

"Well, when we pulled up to the house we were sitting in the truck and we almost did but I stopped before we could."

"Why!" Lexi yelled.

"I don't think I'm ready yet. I mean, we went through a lot in one night."

"Oh."

"Well Lex, I'm going to bed. Night."

"Night!"

You walk up to your bedroom and plop down on the bed and go to sleep.
