Bucky was released from Hospital 2 days later. His mind was still a bit tacky, but he was still good to go.
Steve decided to take him to the smithsonian to help jog his memory.
The children running around Captain America spandexs were really enjoying themselves, but Bucky was really smiling when a little kid beside him walked past with a Bucky type uniform that looked just like him with a little boy beside him with blonde hair that Looked exactly like Steve in a Captain America uniform but smaller. Bucky gave Steve a slight nudge and Steve smiled at looked at his friend.
They were friends till the end of the line. There was no doubt about that.
Steve leads Bucky up to the plague with his name and watched a video on the side of the billboard.
"Told you your not a horrible person" Steve smiled.
"Look at all the peoples Ass's you kicked."
"Steve?"
"Yes Bucky, What is it?"
"Can you help me put my life back together.Even....even when i hardly remember anything from the past even though i try hard to. Even with my metal arm and the fact that im not how i used to be?"
"Of course, After all the things youve done for me, Even with your metal your still bestest friend i have ever had."
"Thank you Steve."
"I sorta should be the one thanking you for all the things you have done for me in the past." Steve smiled.
They walked out together and drove away in silence. The silence wasn't awkward, it was more of a thinking silence.
When they returned to Steves Apartment they started settling in. The apartment wasn't big but was big enough to house 2 people. Bucky helped help moved a book shelf out to the lounge room and they moved the spare bed into the room.This was now offically Buckys Room. Steve luckily didnt give away his old clothes to charity so Bucky had to stick with Steves Hug Sized T-shirts for the time being.
After getting that organised Steve wanted to Teach Bucky some Basics of 21st century technology. He Showed him the Dishwasher,The toaster, explaining that this toasts your bread. Steve Gave Bucky a taste of toasted bread
"Woah this tastes really nice." was what he said.
He showed him a microwave and how it warms food up in instant. Bucky described it to be some magical machine which made Steve Really laugh hard which he shouldn't of because that was him when he started learning. But Then Steve regreted showing Bucky how a Phone works.
"Bucky this is called a iPhone, you can call people instantly and you can play games and you can do all sorts of things with this."
Steve handed it to him left him to look at it for a bit. Steve turned on the TV and had a confused bucky smiling at all the things he clicked.
"Stuff Typewriters Buck, you can type on this aswell, same as computers"
Steve showed Bucky notes and typed a few words down which amazed him.Bucky was getting a big upset when he couldnt hold the phone in both hands for his left arm was metal and everytime he tried to click the screen it wouldn't do anything.
"This phone thing is pretty cool." Bucky said clicking the home a couple of times with his metal arm with no effort.
"Here this game might intrest you." Steve Pulled the phone free out of Buckys hand.
