It's very easy to become overwhelmed by the small things in life which don't go our way. Maybe your friends won't agree on something, maybe you don't know how you're going to finish all your homework in time, or maybe you're just not getting enough sleep and that stresses you out.

Stress is good for no one, and for a lot of teens little things can lead to a whole lot of stress. Whenever you feel yourself becoming overwhelmed by a situation because you don't know what to do or nothing is going your way, remember to breathe. Think logically not emotionally, and recite the facts of the situation to yourself. Laying out the situation methodically and clearly can help you not only to de-stress but also problem solve.

Don't let yourself become worked up about the small things, but instead breathe and try to solve them.
