Victoria slipped onto the jet and stood next to Steve, as he conversed with Tony and Bruce.

"No way we all get through this."

"Damn, way to be positive, Tin-Can," Victoria shoved the playboy slightly, to which he answered with a humourless glance.

"If even one tin soldier is left standing, we've lost. There's gonna be blood on the floor."

"I got no plans tomorrow night," Steve smirked slightly.

"I'd just be glad for no school."

"I get first crack at the big guy. After all, Iron Man is the one he's waiting for."

"It's true," Vision waltzes past. "He hates you the most."

Once everyone was onboard the Quinjet, and they were airborne, Steve decided to give one of his famous speeches.

"Ultron knows we're coming. Odds are, we'll be riding into heavy fire. And that's what we signed up for, but the people of Sokovia didn't. So, our priority is getting them out. All they want is to live their lives in peace, and that's not going to happen today. But, we can do our best to protect them.

"And we can get the job done. We find out what Ultron has been building; we find Romanoff and we clear the field – keep the fight between us. Ultron thinks that we're monsters, that we're what's wrong with the world. This isn't just about beating him, it's about whether he's right."

"Hey, pumpkin?"

Victoria looked up from where she was seated, which was on Pietro's lap, to her father who held an accusing expression.

"Yes, dad?"

"I need to talk to you."

Victoria squeezed Pietro's hand, before joining her father on he other side of the jet. She braced herself, trying to keep her mouth shut but the teenager spurted a sentence out before she could even stop herself.

"I don't need another talk, dad. I already had one when I got my first boyfriend."

"I—I just—" he sighed. "Be careful, okay? And warn him that I don't miss when I shoot."

"Gotcha."

"Also, I wanted to know if you're ready?"

"Ready for what?"

"To have babies," her father rose an eyebrow. "We're fighting robots, Victoria. Are you ready for that?"

"Of course I am! I thought you were okay with me fighting?"

"I'm a father, Vic. Being a worry wort about their baby girl is kinda what us fathers do," he paused. "Then again, most father's are fretting over pregnancies and whatever. I feel like I'm the only father that has a superhero as a daughter."

"This is why I love you, dad," she kissed his cheek. "But I'm ready to fight, it's what you brought me up to be – a strong fighter."

"Of course, Virago."

"What?" Victoria gave her father a curious glance, wondering what in hell he was speaking about, "Virago?"

"Well, I thought you'd need a cool superhero name – now that you're an Avenger. Virago has a nice ring to it," he shrugged.

"I'm not an official Avenger, yet, dad."

Victoria's eyes flew to the badge that stood on her father's shoulder, proudly. Clint's gaze moved to where his daughter's was, before the older archer face-palmed.

"Of course! I knew I was forgetting something!"

He walked over to Steve, fishing something out of the soldier's pocket. He patted the soldier on the back as he walked back to Victoria. She held her breath for a moment, her smile growing by the second.

"Victoria Selene Barton, would you do your parents proud and become an official member of the Avenger's family?"

"I'm scared to say yes out of fear that this sounds like a proposal."

They shared a laugh, before Clint patted the badge onto her shoulder. The only problem was that it wasn't a sticker, so it fell to the floor.

"Ah, shit," Clint scratched his chin, before calling out. "Does anybody have any glue?" Silence. "Tape?" He was met with the same silence again, causing the archer to roll his eyes and groan. "A safety pin, for crying out loud?"

"Here, dad."

Victoria handed him the safety pin she kept in her pocket. Judge her all you want, but those tiny devils are handy and useful in almost any situation.

Clint chuckled, "Of course, you would have a pin on you."

"You never know what kind of situation you get into," she giggled. "And anyway, what is that supposed to mean?"

"Nothing, nothing."

He pinned the badge on her shoulder, a temporary solution. He patted it down, before walking his daughter back to Pietro. The speedster got up, his eyes darting between the father – who had his eyes narrowed to the size of slits – and his girl, who had a giddy grin on her face.

"Look who's a new Avenger!" She showed the badge to him and Wanda, the latter of the two who gave a wide smile.

"I've got my eye on you, Road Runner."

"Dad! Go back to your old people now."

Clint sauntered back to where the men were, while Pietro sat down again, allowing Victoria to settle back into her previous position on his lap, the girl cuddling his chest.

"Please don't die on me today."

"I won't, prințesa."

"I want our forever, okay?"

"Our forever. Us," he smiled. "I love the sound of that."

"We have arrived." Steve's voice informed the team, causing the atmosphere to thicken.

Victoria couldn't help but panic at the feeling that rested at the bottom of her stomach, the uneasiness making her feel suddenly nauseous.

She had a bad feeling about this fight.
