Third P.O.V
That morning she woke before her alarm. She spent 10 minutes staring emotionlessly at the bottom of the wall at the crisping cream paint. Slowly raising her paws to see two of the many scars she got from that place. Her fur had grown over time, hiding the memories. She eventually moves her body, wiping away sleep that had formed in the corner of her red eyes.
'What the hell happened to me back there? I'm not weak... I'm not.'Y/n P.O.V
Soft knocking comes from my door. Making my way over, 'It better not be any animal trying to start something, I'm really not in the mood.' Unlocking it with my key I'm startled, face washed blank with confusion to see Seff standing there with a box of my f/f (favourite flavour) pocky. "Seff? This sure is unusual" I lean my head against the door "you coming in, or are we going to have a staring contest all morning?" I tease, fully expecting him to grunt in disgust at my comment. But he doesn't. He raises his paw, offering me the box. He saw the shock register on my face before I could hide it. "What's with the gifts all of a sudden?" I catch a glimpse of myself in his eyes. My eyes are still red.

He wrapped an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close
Every muscle of her body just froze.
His arm squeezed a fraction tighter and she breathed more slowly. Her stomach fluttered at the feeling of her body pressed against his. She sunk into the warmth of his side, appreciative of the simple gesture. It was extremely out of character for him... And her. Yet that seems to keep happening.
"Why did you go in there?" His voice next to her ear. "H-How do you know?" carelessly uttered from her mouth. "I have my ways" his voice turns more serious. "Perhaps it's time you get help... Help the police find the animals that did that-" she interrupts him, pulling away. "Since when did you think so highly of them?" His strange warmth gone faster than summer rain on the tarmac. His focus was somewhere in the apartment as if she had become invisible to him or he could not bare to see her at all. "They killed them, you were the only who made it out alive... They fled the crime scene" I watched as the whites in his eyes darken. "That place, you're not yourself at all, since when were you like this? You always have some snarky remark to make." The way her eyes squinted when she glared at him reminded him of back then, before she became this strong and untouchable. She sighed like a slight spring breeze, soft and gentle. "I don't know... I hate being like this, weak and vulnerable, but what can I do? I don't think they ever actually started an investigation, unless it was a done in secret." His eyes remained fixed past her, before shifting up at her. "You honestly believe you're weak? Vulnerable? That's enough, you're spouting nonsense now"
"Spouting nonsense? I see"The knock came quietly first and then there was silence. Seff walks away towards my sofa. I let out a sigh, 'typical'
I pull the door open without any hesitation.
"Officer?"
Y/n P.O.V
My questionable tone causes Seff to turn his head to the door. Eyebrows furrow at me. "I wanted to check up on you, how are you feeling?" He somewhat smiles. Perhaps 'smile' wasn't the right word for it, the top row of teeth was showing, and there was a faint curve to the lips, but there was no crease below the eyes, no movement of the cheeks. "Oh, I see you have company." Watching the sparkle in his eyes fade. My mouth opens, quickly gathering the correct words "it's no trouble, he's family" I flash him an amused grin. He laughs, scratching the back of his neck. Is he relived?
Glancing back to Seff, I bite my lip, looking up into his eyes.
"Officer... I'd like to make a statement"
