Die or Survive (Hiatus)

Stage 4 (part 4)

Previously in Stage 4 (part 3)...

Solar knew he had been found and he couldn't help but feel too afraid, imagining himself being eaten by a herd of monster. Imagining his flesh being ripped out from his bone.

The monsters dashed towards Solar but they didn't manage to get him when the floor where Solar sat abruptly moved along with the book rack that stand against the wall.

                                                                       

Quake tried to call Solar many times, but he didn't answer. Quake and his twins were in a bedroom. It was neat but it was full of horrifiying artwork. There were paintings of people being tortured. The blood on the paintings seemed real too. Besides that, there were realistic wax statue. It looked so real that Quake, Thorn and Blaze thought they were real humans.

Thorn's injuries had been covered with clothe that they found in the room. The stained clothe on Blaze's leg also had been changed into a clean one.

Quake getting worried when Solar didn't pick up his calls. After exploring the whole room, Blaze and Thorn strode towards Quake who was sitting on the bed. Both of them sat on each of Quake's side.

"Solar is still not answering your call?" Blaze asked. Quake slowly shook his head, worry was seen on his face.

"No! It cannot be! Solar is fine, isn't he? He couldn't have been dead!" Thorn started to feel panic when his twin didn't answer Quake's call.

"No, Thorn. He is fine. I'm sure!" Quake tried to calm Thorn down despite him being so worry that he could feel his heart would explode for beating too fast.

"B... but-" Blaze couldn't finish his sentence when Quake pulled him and Thorn into a hug.

"It's okay. He will be fine. He's probably hiding right now. That's why he didn't answer my call." Quake tried to think positive. He couldn't give up now.

Thorn wiped his tears that managed to fall. He felt a little bit calmer when he heard what Quake just said. "Let's find him and get out of here." Said Blaze.

All of them stood up and walked towards the door. Quake and Thorn helped Blaze to walk because his leg was injured. They would find Solar and survive this game. No one was allowed to die. They would make sure of it.

They looked to the left and right to see whether the paths were cleared or not. After they were sure it was safe for them to move, they walked to the left side.

They opened many doors  and explored many rooms. They found staircase and went down. They also looked at their surroundings carefully to see if there was monster on their way. They did encounter the hooded flying creature but they hid behind furniture and debris so they wouldn't be found.

The creature came close to furniture where Quake and his brothers hid. They could feel their heart beating rapidly when it float in front of them. However, its back faced them make it didn't see Quake and his twin hid behind a furniture.

It stayed still in the air for a moment and that was when Quake saw something. The key to unlock the bracelet was hanging on the creature's robe.

After it left, Blaze whispered. "How do we get that key?"

Thorn shrugged while Quake was thinking. "Should we just attack it, take the key and run like hell?" Blaze suggested.

"How can you run with your leg, Blaze?" Thorn asked, pointing at Blaze's injured leg.

"It's a good plan but quite risky. It will stop moving for a few seconds after we attack it. We take that chance to take the key and escape. It's quite risky because Blaze couldn't run faster and that thing was pretty fast. We have to launch a successful attack on it so we have much time to escape and hide." Quake stood up and looked around for any creature.

Out of the blue, Quake's power band rang indicating someone was calling him. Quake looked at his watch and he felt a sudden relief to see who was calling.

"Is that Solar?" Asked Thorn when he saw Quake smiled.

Quake nodded and answer the call. "Solar! Are you alright?"

"Quake! Yes, I'm alright. We've found the way to the garden. Where are you guys?"

Quake, Thorn and Blaze was shocked when they heard Solar. "'We'? They asked to each other.

"Listen up, guys! There's a shortcut to the garden and you no need to face the monsters. First you need to find library on the fourth floor. There were two libraries on that floor. One is neat and clean while the other one was messy. Go to the neat one. I'll tell you what to do next once you reach there." Solar ended the call.

"He must have found one of our twins. We have to get that key!" Blaze said.

"But, how do we know which floor are we now?" Thorn asked.

"We are on the fourth floor. It's already written on the wall at staircase." Quake said.

"So, what are we gonna do first? Get the key or find the library first?" Blaze asked as he tried to get up with Thorn's help.

"Let's find the library first. We don't know when will we encounter that thing again." Quake said before he lead his twins.

                                                                       

Me: I publish two chapters today. It's because I haven't update this book for months and now is semester break.

Len: Point out any mistakes. She has checked the chapter but she might still miss the errors. So, tell us if you saw any mistakes.

Me: I'm too lazy to check the chapters again and again.

Len: Me too.

7BBB: Help us! She's torturing us!

Me: Hey! Only Len is allowed to enter my room! *pull out a baseball bat below the bed*

Len: Err... You guys better get out before she beats the daylight out of you. *push 7BBB out of the room*
