26. Prom part 1

Evie's POV:
Audrey,Mal,Lonnie,& I were sitting at the table we usually sit at. We were eating lunch.
"So Ben has asked you Mal,Chad has asked me, and Jay has asked you Lonnie. Now we just have to wait for Carlos to ask Evie to prom." Audrey said.
"Yeah I guess." I said.
Then I heard someone playing guitar behind me and when I turned around it was Carlos.
"Omg it's happening." Lonnie whispered.
I smiled as Carlos started to sing.
Come on over in my direction
So thankful for that such a blessing yeah

"Evie will you go to prom with me?" Carlos asked.
"What did you think I was gonna do? Of course I'll go with you." I replied.
Carlos smiled and kissed me and Mal clapped slowly.
"Bravo brava now please do that PDA somewhere else." Mal commented.
I pulled away and rolled my eyes at her.
"Wait next week is graduation." I said.
"You should be thankful Carlos is really smart or else he wouldn't be in the same grade as you." Audrey said.
I shrugged and winked at Carlos before sitting down where I was before. Carlos sat down next to me and I blushed.
Later that day 9:58 pm
I was sitting on Carlos's bed and he was strumming his guitar.
"Carlos are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah why?" Carlos replied.
"You've been really quiet." I said.
"You know what? Evie I'm fine I don't need you checking up on me every single minute just because I had a panic attack." Carlos snapped.
I looked down and Carlos stopped strumming his guitar.
"Evie I'm sor-." Carlos started.
"Save it." I snapped.
I walked out,slamming the door behind me and ran to Mal and I's dorm.
I burst into tears as I laid down on my bed,burying myself underneath the covers.
"E what's wrong?" Mal asked.
"Carlos." I mumbled.
You guys have only been married for two days and your already fighting what the frick?" Mal asked.
I glared at her and sat up. Mal sat down next to me.
"Prom is tomorrow night." I whispered.
"Maybe Carlos is just stressed out. I mean Audrey told me he yelled at her because she bumped into him." Mal said.
"Maybe." I mumbled.
The next day
I accidentally bumped into Carlos on my way to math.
"Evie can we talk?" Carlos asked.
I rolled my eyes and he looked down.
"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." Carlos said.
"Your not being forgiven that easily." I said.
Now I'm out here looking like revenge
Feeling like a ten, the best I've ever been
