~Liam~
After the interview, it took a while to calm Niall down and be able to fully be able to speak normally. The boys and I was relieved that he decided to tell the truth but we sure had a difficult time understanding him.
"Goodness Niall. Speak up please." Louis complained and I shot him a glare. He shrugged and kept looking at Niall, like the rest of us.
"I need to go to the place I'm suppose to go volunteer at today. Simon called me before the interview and said if I didn't go he was gonna cut something from me." We all looked at each other a little shocked. Why would he do that? "Probably just an empty threat." He stood up letting out a deep sigh and looked into a mirror.
I hadn't really looked at Niall's form really but something was definitely different. He looked skinner, his face a little bit sunken in and definitely stressed and worried. Poor kid.
"When's the last time you ate, Niall?" Paul our security guard asked him, making me realize I wasn't the only one thinking he hadn't ate much recently.
"Yesterday. Why?" he asked turning around.
"You look really skinny mate." Harry answered quietly. Niall shrugged and said something about being fine. Paul went to talk to him quietly and they seemed to be having some small argument. I couldn't do much so I say down on the couch and closed my eyes.
I didn't really remember falling asleep but woke up to Zayn shaking me awake.
"Hey. Niall asked us to go with him today to the orphanage that he has to go work at. I hope you don't mind but we all agreed to go." He said quietly sitting down beside me.
"No, I don't mind. It would be nice to be able to see this place anyways." I answered just as quietly. "What do you think it's going to be like?"
"That I'm not sure. Hopefully it will be nice." Zayn said a little hopeful. He had a soft spot for kids. I smiled softly and laid my head on his shoulder.
"I guess we will see." He laughed and agreed, just as Niall came back into the room.
"Are you guys sure you want to come? You don't have to if you don't want to." He sad looking at us individually.
"Of course we do Ni. Why wouldn't we want to come with you?" I said quietly looking at him. He shrugged and signaled to us that we had to go. Louis grabbed his light jacket, Harry fixed his hair- what a prima donna, Zayn helped me up and grabbed his jacket as well, and I grabbed my charging phone and jacket and we all walked out at the same time. We were all too busy checking our phones and a tweet caught my attention. I smiled and showed Niall the tweet, which said "we support you Niall and thank you for telling us. You're strong and we love you. #staystrongni" He smiled wide and hugged me tightly. This is the boy I knew. The one that loved to hug around and smile as wide as he could, spreading joy around to everyone that was around him. Gosh, I missed him so much. I showed the other boys and we all smiled wide. #staystrongni was trending and we knew our fans would apologize quickly.
On the way to the orphanage, we were all in such a great mood that we couldn't help but sing some of our songs just for the fun of it. Once the vehicle stopped, all five of us climbed out and looked at the building. It was nothing close to being nice. It was run down, old and sure needed a lot of work to get it up to date. I looked around and saw that this was the only building besides the backsides of run down apartment building and most of them reminded me like we had stepped back into the 1920's with everything so crowded. No place to play nor a place to actually have fun.
"Liam! Come on." Paul called at me and I ran to catch up to the boys. They were just as shocked as I at how horrible the placed looked. We walked in and an elderly lady looked at us.
