~*Mi'kai*~

Rage boils in my veins as I storm through the frostbitten training camp; the cold air slowly seeping into my bones is the least of my concerns. The emperor has gone too far this time...

You can't blame an "accidental" wildfire on the deaths of hundreds of people in an island nation. A natural made fire can't jump over an ocean without help from man.

"Mi'kai! Calm down and tell me what's going on!" Woofless' voice seems to be a distant echo as I walk farther and farther from the barracks. He doesn't understand...

I jump slightly when a hand touches my shoulder, and I spin around quickly to see Woofless looking back at me. His expression filled with confusion and worry. "Mi'kai relax. Tell me what's wrong." The older teen's brown eyes seemed to be searching my face for an answer. Why did you follow me?

"You wouldn't understand Woofless," I mutter, shrugging away from him.

"I'd like to take a gamble with that claim sir." The older teen crosses his arms over his chest, and I lower my gaze to the ground to keep from lashing out at him. Why is he acting so cocky?

"Like you could understand how it feels to have basically everyone you knew and held close be killed by a-" My voice trails off the moment I realize the words that were coming out of my mouth. Mi'kai...

You're an idiot.

"You're right Mi'kai. I wouldn't understand," Woofless states sarcastically, rolling his eyes at me, "I'm your normal, everyday imperial citizen."

"Woofless I am so-"

The older teen interrupts me. "It's fine Mi'kai. I don't remember as much of Minecraftia as others might have." His expression changes, and he looks off into the distance.

"Fvendal?" Woofless gives me a small nod before turning his attention back to me. What was he looking at?

"Did M'ayris tell you?"

I look at him in confusion. "Did M'ayris tell me what?"

"It's nothing important." He shakes his head. "And for the record, it's not smart to let out all your rage immediately after the deed has been done. They'll suspect that. That's one of the many things Fvendal was great at; carefully plotting a slow revenge that no one suspected."

"What was it?"

"I don't know exactly." Woofless shrugs. "Every time he talked about it with me, he was very broad about the way he said things. Almost as if he was scared someone high up was listening." I nod. That makes since. Anaihee says that she had been learning Woof's native language by overhearing Fvendal talk. Fvendal must have known about that.

"I see." I cross my arms. "But the emperor killed all those innocent people, don't you want revenge?"

"I do, but right now isn't the best time to attack the empire. The emperor wants you to get angry at him; he wants to you try to attack him; he wants you to get yourself locked up in the prison. Because if you do that to yourself, he won't have any repercussions for killing you off." Woofless moves a step closer before adding another comment in a whisper. "But if you really want to know what I've been planing, you'll have to learn Minecrafti."

"Will you teach me the language?" The older teen winks as a response to my question before wrapping his arm around my shoulders and saying something in Minecrafti. I look over at him in confusion, making him burst out in laughter.
