he decided that he should delete it instead, but he slipped and accidentally clicked send.

he was used to that kind of treatment, but this time, he felt that irene was special.

ever since hoseok started blasting ice cream cake at their dorm and encouraged the members to support red velvet, taehyung found that his eyes always made their way to irene whenever he was watching their performances.

how could he help it?

she was just simply gorgeous. she had the prettiest eyes. she had the sweetest voice. her dancing was powerful, and she could spit hot bars too.

he just couldn't take his eyes off her.

watching irene always made taehyung feel happier. whenever he felt down after stumbling upon articles or mean comments about himself, he would find videos of red velvet performances online to watch.

watching their performances helped him to forget those comments. the comments that called him weird, an oddball, or that he couldn't mix well with his members. or those comments that called him out for his appearance, calling him fat, ugly, and truthfully - everything he didn't want to be.

taehyung saw irene as his star on a dark night, guiding him out of the dark and into the light.

and this time, he didn't want someone precious to him to leave again.

he wasn't going to let it happen.
