the morning slipped in through the blinds, gently waking up the red velvet members in their dorm.
well, all except one.
although everyone else was awake and pretty much finished with getting ready, yeri was still in bed and stirring in her sleep.
" kim yerim! your alarm has been ringing for the past 15 minutes, why are you still sleeping? we're gonna be late! " irene cried out as she ran to yeri's room. " hurry up and wake up, you sloth! i can't believe i'm dragging you out of bed again, i reminded you to sleep early last night! "
it was only with the help of irene's screaming that yeri finally managed to open her eyes. " i'm still tired.... i had a really weird dream. " she reluctantly let herself be dragged by irene to the bathroom to get ready. honestly, it wasn't like she had a choice.
" i was studying in the library, and there was this cute guy sitting opposite me. but his phone wouldn't stop ringing really loudly and he wasn't doing anything about it, and i got so annoyed i almost threw it. and then i woke up. "
" that's just because in real life, your alarm was ringing non stop too! but did we complain? no! now hurry up and get ready, hyejin unnie is reaching in 10 minutes. "
" ten minutes? oh shit! "
" stop cursing! hurry up! "
" was that cute guy jungkook? " joy smirked and asked her as yeri passed by joy's bedroom and was being dragged by irene to the bathroom.
" unfortunately, no. "
somehow, yeri managed to get ready pretty quickly. she opted for her usual white top and some light washed denim shorts, put on a pair of hoops, wore some trainers and did some basic make up. she grabbed her banana tofu shake from the fridge before running out the door to join the rest who were already in the car.
" late again because of yeri, right? " hyejin unnie called out. yeri only sheepishly smiled. " it's okay, we might make it on time if we drive slightly faster. you girls are lucky your dorm is pretty near the company. "
" oh, we're going to the company? then what makes the meeting so special, won't it just be another one of those about our upcoming schedules? " wendy asked.
" nope. this meeting involves some special people not from sm. " their manager replied.
at this point, there was only one thought running through everyone's minds.
what the hell sm is up to again?

at bangtan's dorm, surprsingly, yoongi was up first. he got up and trudged to the sofa before plopping down and dozing off.
jin who was second to get up and walked towards the kitchen to get some breakfast saw yoongi on the couch and couldn't believe his eyes. he walked to the couch and gently shook yoongi.
" hey, who are you? "
yoongi barely opened his eyes and looked at jin with confusion. " seokjin hyung, what's wrong with you? i'm yoongi. "
" are you sure? the yoongi i know would never be the first to get up. "
" that's just because i didn't even sleep, hyung. "
" ah, makes sense. catch some sleep while i make you guys some sandwiches. "
" sure. thanks hyung. " yoongi muttered with a small smile on his face before falling asleep again.
after all the members were up, they each grabbed a sandwich that jin made and made their way to the car that was already outside of their dorm and waiting for them.
" you guys are actually on time for once, i'm surprised! but can someone fix yoongi's face? "
" what can you do about it? it's already perfect. "
" yoongi hyung, can you shut up and let me apply some concealer for you? you look more like a panda than a panda looks like a panda. " jimin said. and yoongi did shut up, only because he fell asleep. again.
as jimin was applying concealer for yoongi to hide his dark circles, taehyung who was looking on couldn't help but gawk at yoongi.
" he's so pale, his concealer literally looks like liquid snow. "
" taehyung ah, liquid snow is water. water isn't white. " namjoon facepalmed and replied.
ignoring how idiotic his hyungs were being, jungkook asked their manager. " minhyuk hyung, where are we going? "
" yeah, is it quite far away? why do we need an hour to get there? " hoseok asked.
" getting there is easy but getting in is another problem. " their manager replied.
hoseok muttered, " i am confusion. "

when they finally reached their destination, everyone looked up at the magnificent building in awe. sm entertainment - the most well known entertainment company in korea, and all of their artists made it big in the industry. they were truly a remarkable company.
their manager, minhyuk, spoke. " that's not all, we still have to go to the artist entrance and then have the sm staff escort you guys in secretly. "
yoongi who finally woke up and looked out the car window spoke up. " why are we at sm for the special meeting though? "
manager just rolled his eyes. " what do you think has been the hottest news this past week? "
jungkook gulped and asked timidly, " so this special meeting we're having is related to red velvet? "
" what else would you expect? i too wasn't informed about the specific details of the meeting and i have absolutely no clue about what sm wants to do, but bang pd nim is already inside. apparently, sm contacted him a few days ago to arrange for this meeting. "
jungkook was worried. he knew it all started because of him, it was because of him that they were meeting.
the rest of bts already assured him that they didn't mind and that they would all stay with him regardless of the consequences, but he couldn't help but feel bad about it.
still, nothing could stop him from wanting to get to know yeri better. she was so intriguing, who could blame him?

haha this chapter has a lot of cute member interactions ❤️❤️ and yeri's dream was actually based off mine! i've had my own fair share of extremely interesting dreams but this is one of the least weird ones, and let's just say mine didn't involve any cute guys :-)
