Days of rainand I look out the window
into the world so green and blue
where love is true
but for a few
so I wink
and run, I run
into the vast wild world
feeling the ringing rain
falling on my face
a transient embrace
so I begin to chase
the petrichor
and water puddles
and I am a child again
and I am a child again
the rain becomes a song
the roads become so long
but I run nonetheless
as I used to in the past
the train, the rain, the wolf, the howl
the night, the dark, the dance, the soul
and all the wild fantasies
and dreams come back to me
come back to me
to me.
