| a leaf and a wind |

I am a leaf,
the one covered in
shyness all so green,
and you my love,
are a beautiful wind,
dancing across the city,
rising smoke and dust
as you fly along with wings
I can't see, but I do remember
your soft whispers...

We'll fly, you said,
so here I am, in your arms,
diving in the air
laughing with the birds,
and with you!
Bidding farewell to
the tree I've been a part of
for so long,
and flying along with you,
on this journey,
getting glimpses of the world
feeling your touch all over me,

Wilderness of the autumn,
and the ice cold breeze,
lark of the teasing birds,
and the glitter of the sunbeam,
I feel it all, with you, and I
See how beautifully my world
Gets filled with adventures
I only dreamt in my wildest dreams
and then the realization ascends
The depth of my heart, as I understand,
the flight was, after all,
a great deep fall.
You didn't hold me close,
as you let me fall,
Watching my little dance
as I fell into a puddle,
Heartbroken, I cried,
my tears dissolving in water,
But you didn't turn back
for you are the wind,
and you must flow,
endlessly, with or
without love...!
