Two lonely people,

on a lonely night,

carrying a thousand

words in their hearts,

and blooming feelings

of love, lust, and dust,

in the dark of the night,

were trying to find,

charging slots

for their phones,

as their batteries

were about to die.

~ Mister August

Author's Note

It was neither a joke nor a poem, but a reflection of the horrors of our society. Battery drainage is a crisis we all are currently suffering from. Our lifesavers, I mean phones, can die at any moment, and if we don't carry a fast charging charger, we might have to spend the entire night near the charging slot. I was about to talk about poverty and hunger but then I realized, until a Whatsapp Forward comes to our attention, we won't even realize these tiny issues also exist.
