There is a silence
creeping into my room
filling it with smoke
of memories
and dust particles.

And, I lay motionless
on my wooden bed
holding tight
the last of those roses dry
and bloodletters.

And then the silence
fills up all the space left
and grabs my last breath
like an eagle clutching its prey
and then I hear just cries,
and more cries.
