Is the sound rain makes as it splatters and vibrates against the window. I lean on the cold glass surface. My hands clutches at the blanket as I stare at the door. We have officially been waiting for Daron to return for two days.
“You know he’s fine, Ally.” Tyler says as he sits down beside me. He places a plate of food down on the table.
“I know. It’s just……I can’t help be worried.” I say before I take a small bite of the sandwich. “How’s my brother doing?”
“Hungry, loud, and annoying, but healthy I can assure you.”
I give a soft smile before I go back to looking out the window.
