Chapter 9

*2 months later*
Lisa's POV
Me and Colton are working on finishing Liam's nursery! I can have him anytime because the due date is in two weeks, Our baby shower was yesterday so all of our stuff is still in the bags and everything and I am so excited to get everything out. The walls are blue and green with zoo animals, and it has LIAM hanging above where his crib is going to be which is what Colton is doing right now, and my mom also got us a bassinet that we can put against our bed at night for him.
"Babe I got it finish!" He said and I walked to the room and with the crib being done, the room is finally complete! And I smiled
"I love it" I said and he smiled and wrapped his arm around me and kiss my cheek
"Now all we gotta do unpack the stuff and make our hospital bag" He said and I smiled and he went and grabbed the bags with all of our stuff from the baby shower we put the changing table stuff up with the wipes, hand sanitizer, diapers, powder, then we got his little toys and everything together, and my favorite part now is going through the little outfits and pj's  which was absolutely adorable, and I spoked up
"Okay, I already got my stuff ready for my hospital bag eariler, so we need to do Liam's" I said and Colton nodded
"So what does he need?" He asked going to the closet and I spoked up
"Well, 2-3 sleepers and a going home outfit, plenty of diapers,wipes,powder, his hat, burp rags, blanket, pillow and his car seat which is already in the car" I said and he nodded and we both got the stuff ready and I took out a pillow and blanket that Dani made for him and it has "Liam Micheal" stitched on it and I smiled really big and Colton spoked up
"Is that blanket and pillow you wanna use?" He asked and I nodded
"Yeah" I said handing it to him and he took it and put it in the diaper bag that Katherine got for us that says "Liam" on it and I just got quiet and Colton spoked up
"Everything okay babe?" He asked and I took a breath
"Has it hit you yet that were gonna be parents?" I asked and he chuckled
"It hit me as soon as you told you were pregnant" He said and I smiled and he spoked up
"It knew I needed to step up" He said and kissed my forehead and I smiled because with all the pregnancy stuff, he did everything I asked him like going to the store at midnight when I had weird cravings, massage my shoulders, he literally went to every single doctor appointment, he is so supportive and I am so lucky to have someone like him and I just pressed my lips against his and he smiled
"Is it just now hitting you?" He asked and I took a breath
"I mean seeing that positive on the pregnancy test changed my life, but it just now hitting me that he's gonna be here and it kinda makes me nervous, I'm not nervous about when to feed him, change him, or anything, I just want to give him the world and be a good mom" I admitted and he just hugged me
"You're gonna be a amazing mom, I seen how you were with your little brothers when they were little, you were born to be a mom, I'm gonna ask you a lot of questions, but we are in this together okay? You and Liam are going to be the the priorities in my life" He said and I smiled and pressed my lips against his once more and pulled away
"I love you" I said and he smiled
"I love you too"
