Chapter 38

Lisa's POV
Today is Colton's birthday and I am throwing him a surprise party, and he absolutely have no idea, the kids are actually really excited about it, his family is coming, friends from work, I even have his best friend from New Jersey coming down that he has no idea about. I am so excited even though   I have pretend I forgot his birthday so I was already up making the kids breakfast and he came down
"Hey babe" I said as I peck his lips and he smiled
"Hey" He said and I putting the kids plates on the table and he spoked up
"So you know what today is?" He asked and I looked at the calender
"Yeah it's Friday, but hey you're gonna be late and I gotta go get Ariel" I said as I kissed his cheek
"I love you" I said as I ran up the stairs and I can tell he was kinda surprised because I never forgot his birthday before and once he walked out the door and I know he left, the kids and I went to go pick up the cake and everything. After a while I heard the doorbell and went to open to see it was his best friend Jeremiah
"Hey" I said smiling and he hugged me
"How are you?" He asked and I took a breath
"I'm doing great" and Liam came running to me and he made a surprise face
"That's liam?" He asked and I nodded and he spoked up
"Oh my gosh haven't seen him sine he was still in diapers" He said which is true he hasn't see us since Sophia was born and he admired the girls too and spoked up
"So he has no idea about any of this?" He said and I shook my head
"Nope" I said and spoked up "He even thinks I forgot about his birthday" I said as I got everything set up which wasn't much, just the tables out back and everything and the cake and but in the meantime we have to wait til Colton gets off work

Colton's POV
"Hey man, I'm heading out early" Mike said and I nodded
"That's cool dude" I said and he knew something was off
"You okay?" He asked and I took a breath
"Yeah I'm fine, honestly it just makes me sound like a girl" I said and he spoked up
"Oh by the way happy birthday man" He said and I spoked up
"At least you remembered" I said and he made a face
"Lisa forgot?" He said and I nodded
"Pretty much" I said and he spoked up
"You got think though, with three kids under the age of 5 can be pretty hectic" He said and I nodded and he left and I left shortly after and went straight home and I walked in
"I'm home" I yelled and didn't hear anything and walked in the kitchen and seen a note

"Hey babe, the kids and I went to the store, but there is a package out back I need you to carry in"

So I walked out back and the next thing I know I hear
"Surprise!" And I looked around and saw mike, the cimorellis, my mom and dad, presley, and some friends from work, and my best friend from New Jersey and I just had a big smile
"Dude what are you doing here" I said smiling and did the dude handshake thing
"What it's your birthday dude come on now" He said and I chuckled and I spoked up
"Who did this?" I asked and he spoked up
"Who do you think?" He said as he pointed behind me and I turned around to see Lisa and I smiled
"You're really sneaky you know that?" I said as I wrapped my arms around her and she smiled
'Did you really think I forgot your birthday?" She said and I smiled and she spoked up
"Happy birthday babe" She said and I pressed my lips against hers and pulled away and hugged her tight and spoked up
"You're seriously the best"
