Lisa's POV
Today Colton and I are at the doctor getting ready to do our ultrasound and everything and my mom is watching Liam while we are doing this, Colton got off work early for this and we were waiting and he just took my hand and Intertwined them together, and he whispered
"Baby number 2" He said as he kissed my cheek and I smiled and the lady next to us spoked up
"Is this your guys first baby?" She asked and I shook my head
"No, we have a son who just turned one" I answered and she smiled
"This is my first one" She said and we smiled at her
"Congratulations! It's really great" Colton said and she smiled and spoked up
"Thanks guys!" She said and then the doctor came out
"Mrs Matthews" She said and we both got up and she spoked up
"How are you guys doing?" She asked happily and we smiled
"Doing great!" We said and she spoked up
"How is Liam doing?" She asked and we smiled
"He's doing great! Growing like crazy" I said and she smiled
"How is Katherine and her pregnancy?" She asked and I spoked up
"Shes doing good! Excited for the baby to be here!" I said and she smiled
"I bet!" She said as she was typing stuff in the computer, and she knows our whole family because she worked here when my mom was pregnant with all of us and she smiled and spoked up
"Okay, I'll be right back and we will begin your ultrasound!" She said and I smiled as she walked out and I took a breath and Colton held my hand
"I'm really excited" I said and he smiled
"Me too" He said as he kissed my cheek and after a while the doctor came back in
"Okay Lisa are you ready to do the ultrasound?" She asked and I nodded
"Ready as I'll ever be" I said and she smiled and was getting equipment ready and then she turned the thing on
"It's gonna be cold" She said and I nodded as she pressed the thing on my belly and started moving around and she was making a face and it worried me
"Um what's wrong?" I asked and she didn't say anything
"I'll be right back" She said and I nodded and then 5 minutes later she came back with the doctor and did it again and then they both walked back out and I spoked up
"I'll wish they will tell me what's going on!" I said and Colton started rubbing my shoulders
"Calm down babe, they will tell us everything we need to know" He said and then the doctor came back in and I can tell by the look of his face that it was not good news
"Well Lisa, Colton we have some bad news and this is not easy to say" He said and I spoked up
"Okay, what is it?" I said and he spoked up
"Your baby had no heartbeat"
