Chapter 22

Lisa's POV

"Lisa, Elizabeth is awake" Colton said as he was walking down the stairs and I smiled at them
"Hey baby girl" I said happily and she reached out for me and I kissed her cheek as I grabbed her and she was just smiling at me and Colton sit next to me
"Gosh she looks so much like you" He said smiling and I spoked
"Shes beautiful" I said and he spoked up
"She is, and you're beautiful too" He said and peck my lips and all of the sudden

I just woke up from the dream with heavy breathing and I had tears going down my face and I must've woked Colton up because he sit up and turned the bedside lamp up
"Babe are you okay?" He asked and I took a breath
"I had a dream about her" I said and he gave me a look
"Her?" He asked and I took a breath
"The baby, she was a girl, her name was Elizabeth like we always planned on, Colton she was so beautiful" I said as I started crying and he sit up and put his arm around me
"Shhh it's okay" He said as was rubbing my shoulder as I crying into his
"Remember what you told me eariler, we are going to get through this, it is hard now but we can do this" He said as he kissed my forehead
"It hurts so much" I said and he looked at me
"Hey listen, it's hurting me too knowing we are never going to see our baby, we don't deserve it, but we are strong enough to get through this, we can make it" He said and I took a breath
"Remember it's going to make us stronger babe" He said and I nodded and I looked at the clock and it was 4:35am and I felt bad because he had to be up for work at 6:00
"I am so sorry, you have work" I said and he took a breath
"Listen, you're never gonna be alone on this okay, but also I can call for work to be here with you" He said and I shook my head
"No, you already took a week off for me" I said and he took a breath "Alright" He said he peck my lips
"Let's go back to sleep, okay?" He said and I nodded as he turned the light off and I snuggled into his chest as we quietly fell back asleep.

Colton's POV
I just got home from work, and I had a extremely bad day, what really broke me is that a couple came in with a newborn and I couldn't hold it anymore and came home, and  Lisa is home with Liam  but I am in the garage and I had wood and stuff because I was gonna use it to make a crib and I took a baseball bat and started swinging at it and was breaking every single one of them and I was so into it, I heard Lisa behind me
"Babe!" She said and I ignored her and I heard her again
"Colton!" She said and I stopped and I just look at her with a tear down my face and I just laid the bat down
"Is it ever gonna get it easier?"
