Dear Diary,

Today was our last day. We had to celebrate ANZAC Day, a memorial day for the Australian fallen. We attended two memorial ceremonies for the Australian war dead. The first appearance at 5am. William and Kate went along as I was allowed to stay behind.

Later I attended the main ANZAC ceremony. I wore a black Petune coat from Reiss and my black version of my beige L.K Bennett shoes. I wore my hair down in my glossy locks that Shannon did for me.

Prayers and hymns were sung by us along with the Australian Prime Minister. ANZAC is an acronym for Australian and New Zealand Army Corps. After the ceremony and the parade, we walked a short distance and laid posies at the grave for the Australian Unknown Solider. We also toured the corridor and it contained the names of Australians who died in the First World War.

We then signed our names in the visitors book and set off to plant the Lone Pine tree. During the time I was planting the tree, I remembered the song that Laurel and Hardy sang: The Trail of the Lonesome Pine. I started singing aloud and eventually everyone joined in. And it became the song of the ceremony. We then left the Memorial Garden.

Afterwards, we headed to Canberra airport. We sat in a private suite and we got some Starbucks. We also got changed. Our clothes where taken out into the hold and put with our other luggage. I got changed into a (yep you've guessed it) Jackie Kennedy replica.

I've worn it already but I still loved it. I put on my beige shoes, the yellow wattle brooch and my replica of the coat Jackie Kennedy wore when she arrived at Mexico City airport. I just left my hair the way it was.

Eventually we set off onto the runway and the TV cameras and paparazzi were there. We waved goodbye and eventually set on board. This was it. We were leaving.. Goodbye Australia...
