Katie's POV
I yawned and spread my arms behind my back. I collapsed on the floor, getting out of bed. Getting up I opened my door, and I went downstairs. I rubbed my head at my headache. I reached the kitchen to see my mom. She was actually smiling.
I walked over to her and she smiled. I smiled back as I poured myself a cup of coffee. I poured the coffee into my 'Greatest Daughter' mug. I put the mug to my mouth and gulped down the hot coffee. I looked at my still smiling mom.
"What's up mom?"
"Me and your dad are going to try to work it out." she said shrugging back a smile.
"Just be careful mom,"
"Okay,"
"Oh and mom I have a boyfriend now."
"Oh my gosh that's so great we both got love now!" My mom squealed.
I walked to the back room I didnt want my father to come back. I took another sip of my coffee, and sat down. I need a girls day out, I have'nt been out with Linda in a while. So I grabbed my cell dialing her number.
"Hello?"
"Hey Linda want to hang out today?"
"Sure be ready in five."
"Kay."
"Bye."
"Bye."

It's half a chapter so sorry it's a little shorter than even a short chapter but her mom and dad are going to try to make it work but will it work?
