You sat in front of your best friend, he's been there since day one of middle school now you both are out of college and you recently got married to a man named (MaleName). It's true, when you and your best friend- Dagger- were in high school you both had a relationship, it wasn't big it only lasted for your ninth and tenth grade years.

When you took a sip of your drink you took a glance and saw him, the boy you have known all your life pretty much. he had something on his mind, something big and he seemed like he needed to get it off his chest, if he kept it bottled in forever he may kill someone with his knife skills. He throws them, of course at a target on the wall and not at anybody, but if he wanted he sure could.

"(YourName)?" Dagger asked, you nodded causing him to understand you were listening. "You promise you won't look at me differently if I told you something important?" Dagger asked adding onto his last question. You looked straight into his eyes, something in him told you he's been hiding something. 

Girlfriend?

A child!?

The last one angered you, how could he keep such a thing from you? You shook it off and nodded. "I still love you" the teal eyed male said bluntly, everything around you slowed down. Hopefully this was some type of joke, if not you felt that pang of guilt you had whenever you broke up with him.

"Dagger.." You said setting down your drink and gently took his hand. This hurt you as much as it would hurt him. You have seen him as a older brother since you broke up, he protects you, you protect him. You didn't want to ruin that relationship, you also didn't want to divorce the man you're with because you truly love him more then you thought you loved Dagger.

Of course on your wedding day, you had flashbacks to that relationship you had with Dagger, of course you had thoughts about dashing and leaving. Normal? No, it always meant that the marriage will go down in ashes if you're not carful. "I..I don't know how to feel.." You quickly admitting, before Dagger could say anything you kept on. "I will admit on my wedding day I had the thought of dashing, the thought of our relationship in high school kept going through my head. I have no idea why it was, I think it was a message I choose to ignore.." You shamefully admitted your sin.

Finally.

You knew deep down you loved this boy full of fluff and knifes. A weird choice of things but that's just Dagger. Fluffy and Sharp. You could see a slight smirk that formed on his face causing you to blush, you just admitted you undying feelings for you ex-boyfriend...after you got married. A little late hm?

Before you could finish the sentence (MaleName) left, you went into a fit of giggles. You found out recently that you were pregnant, but there was a big fucking twist man. It wasn't your husband's, it was Dagger's. You were honestly glad it was his, since the day you both readmitted your feelings for each other, you both met in secret. It was either a sexual night or a normal date night, it was either one and either one was fine.

You expected a divorce to happen soon, so you quickly called up Dagger and told him the news which he was glad to find out. You later met up with Dagger at your house, you both agreed over the next three months he'll move in as you help (MaleName) move out. Over the motions (MaleName) and you agreed to put the money together and divorce, (MaleName) was incredibly understanding over the whole thing. He kept telling you that he understood everything.

You were just glad he understood, you didn't want any awkwardness. A few months later you had a baby boy, he had your shining (EyeColor) and small patches of black hair from his father. Dagger mostly took care of him since you worked and he stayed home, A year later (MaleName) and you both got a proper divorce. 

Since then life has been looking up for you. You were glad you met up with Dagger in the café over a year ago, you were glad you and Dagger hooked up in secret, you were glad you had (BoyName). 

All because you and Dagger still loved each other.
