Sui hated short hair when she was young, because she 'didn't like her nape to feel exposed'. Sae was the exact opposite and hated hair building up at the back of her neck because it was hot, especially during summertime.
Despite that, in TYL Sui cuts her hair really short, tomboyish; and Sae leaves her hair in a length comparable to Squalo's, but in a long, low braid.
