"Takeshi, no." With a groan, Rei looked away and pressed at the bridge of his nose.
"I haven't said anything yet." Takeshi grinned, a chuckle escaping his lips.
"How long do you think I've known you?" Rei grumbled, the dark circles under his eyes making him seem like a devil incarnate, "It's five a.m. on a Sunday. No, I'm not gonna climb Namimori hill with you to see the sunrise."
Rei's hand was on the doorknob, but Takeshi's palm was on the wood, keeping the door firmly open. The taller male smiling innocently, pretending he wasn't doing it on purpose, Rei tutted.
"How did you even get in?" Rei whined.
Without a moment of hesitation, he replied. "Your dad just went out, so he let me in."
"Oh how convenient," Rei gritted his teeth, "go sleep on the couch or something. Good night."
Pushing Takeshi away, Rei tried to close the door. This time, Takeshi took Rei by the wrist and pushed his way in. Rei's hand was still on the doorknob.
The door slamming shut a tad too loud, Takeshi swerved Rei back against the door, pressing Rei's wrist against the wall and towering over him.
"Pleaase?" Takeshi pleaded with a cutesy tone. Leaning in uncomfortably close, Takeshi's face was but an inch before Rei's. "I love you, so please?"
Rei felt himself flush. Looking Takeshi in the eye-- there was legitimately no where else to look. He was so close Rei didn't even dare to budge in fear of more body contact with this Takeshi dominating him.
Three stale, awkward seconds later, Takeshi burst into laughter.
"AhahaA!" he laughed, "hahAha! Oh, that expression of yours."
Backing off, he clutched his stomach and guffawed like the baseball nut he was. Sitting down on Rei's bed, he continued laughing.
Frozen in utter shock, Rei paused. Looking down, Rei stayed quiet.
"Ahaa... Eh? Rei?" Realizing Rei's silence, Takeshi looked over and--
Rei sniffled, and a tear slid out of his eye.
"Eh? Rei??" Takeshi panicked, "Wha-"
Growling under his breath, and in futility wiping away his tears, Rei reached for the doorknob and gently crunched it open.
