The future they planned together didn't quite end up as it should have.
Niall and Dakota have been through so much together. Falling in love in high school, marriage and now the future is waiting right behind the corner.
But along the way, things started to happen. Terrible things that would destroy everything they had built up.
They are no longer together and Niall is trying to explain to their kids why. He never pictured himself raising two kids alone, but he's doing the best he can.
Leaving stuff in the past isn't always easy. Old wounds will be cut open and memories will come flashing by. Everyone is telling Niall it's time to move on. But it's hard, knowing that it would mean leaving Dakota behind.
