Royal AU Pt.1

Your kingdom - Lunada
Niall's kingdom - Hopia
.
.
.

Once upon a time, there was a beautiful princess, who lived in a castle alongside her parents, the King and Queen of Lunada. They ruled over a kingdom full of many people, taking charge of major trade networks and businesses with other neighboring countries, however there was one in particular that never got along.

The kingdom of Hopia. There was the King and Queen, their two sons and the people they ruled over along their territory. Lunada and Hopia have never gotten along, and it only seemed to create chaos and more pilled up problems.
As neighboring countries, the long time grudge between the two kingdoms must be stopped at once or the next greatest war will commence.

And the only way to bring the two together was for an arranged marriage.

...

In Kingdom Lunada...

It was a bright and early morning, the birds were chirping and beams of sunlight were peaking from the curtains of the large window. Princess (Y/N) was still in bed, deep in her sleep, not taking in mind that she had a big day ahead. There were things to do, places to be and she would have a meeting with her parents at the end of it, yet she still remained in the comfort of her silk sheets.

"Princess (Y/N)!" It was Rose, one of the workers for the castle, more specifically, (Y/N)'s 'maid' but she despised calling her friend that.

She wasn't all for the riches and the royalty and she wasn't a bratty princess who always got her way. She was just adventurous girl with a crown on her head.

"Mhm." She groaned.

"It's time to wake up!" Rose walked over to the large window to open up the curtains, letting the sun take over and bring in all the light.

Immediately, Princess (Y/N) took cover on her blankets, attempting to block out all light that would disrupt her sleeping.

"Come on now. You have a busy schedule today and you need to get ready."

Rose pulled of the blankets in a swift motion and Princess (Y/N) slightly shivered.

"Just a few minutes, please."

"This wouldn't be a problem if you had not been out in the village late at night being a saint, then we wouldn't have this problem."

Princess (Y/N) would stay up late at night and go into the village where she would cover up and give many things to the villagers. From food to clothes, she would give away what she could manage to take away from the castle. No one knew about this, besides Rose, but the villagers didn't know it was the princess and neither did the rest of her royal family.

She stood up from her bed, rubbing her eyes to get used to the light coming in. With a yawn, she got on her feet and went into her bathroom to freshen up. She brushed her teeth, she took a shower and got out with a robe and towel tied up on her head.

"You're outfit is on your bed, Princess (Y/N)."

"Thanks, Rose. And again, don't call me princess. It makes me feel above everyone and I don't like it."

"Sorry."

You quickly changed before the coldness of the room could hit your body. The outfit Rose has chosen was a simple dark blue dress with black ankle boots. You weren't much for the fancy dresses that adorned one side of your closet, untouched or only worn once.

Every morning, Rose would also style your hair, she was talented with anything to do with hair, makeup and clothes. For today, she knew your entire schedule, so a nice updo would work for the day, as well as light makeup only consisting on mascara and your favorite lip color.
