Today would be marked as a special day. After weeks of planning, you were going to tell Niall you are pregnant. After being married for almost two years, you were finally expecting your first child and you could not be happier to be introduced into the life of parenthood.
It made you feel giddy inside that you had a life inside of you made of the love you and Niall had.

Niall was to be coming home soon, so you went ahead and got prepared to tell. You wanted it to be a cute moment, and after a few hours of scrolling on Pinterest, you found inspiration on how to tell him. 

For this day, you bought a baby shirt, but it was not your average baby shirt. It was unique for this occasion. You had personally made a recreation of Niall's merch into mini size. The words, "Daddy's Biggest Fan" spread across the back. It was a cute idea when you saw it online, and you were sure that it would make Niall full with joy.

The plan was to place the baby shirt on your shared bed, the place he headed straight to when coming home from work. It's where he would get into his comfy clothes, and he was bound to see it. It would be difficult to miss.

"Babe, I'm home!" Niall called out as he entered the house. He took of his shoes and placed the keys on the decorative bowl by the door.

"Hey, Ni. How was work?" You pecked his cheek.

"It was good. I'm excited for tour and meeting all the fans from around the world." Niall smiled.

"I'm so proud of you." You looked at him in admiration. He has accomplished so much and it could not make you happier to see him happy with his career. All the hard work and the long nights he worked to finish writing songs for his album. You didn't like seeing him stressing out, but in the end, you knew it is what he wanted to do. You loved his passionate talks when he would come home from recording or promo, you loved him practicing at home, his deep thought of concentration and the few times he would ask you for some inspiration.

You could only imagine what he would be like with the baby and music.

"Thanks, love." Niall kissed you and had a wide grin.

"Alright, you get comfortable, while I set up the food. I made your favorite." You smiled. It was a special day, and to make it better you made Niall's favorite dish.
"Ah, I love your food. I'll be right back. I'm gonna go change. Love you!"

"Go change, you goof." You laughed, playfully pushing him.

"I'm going." Niall laughed too and soon went upstairs.

You anxiously waited downstairs, waiting for a reaction of any kind after Niall would see the little surprise you had waiting for him.

"WHAT?" You heard Niall yell. A smile grew on your face.
"(Y/N)!" Niall ran back into the room, clutching the tiny shirt in his hands.

"We're having a baby?" Niall said loudly.

You couldn't get words to come out, so you just nodded, tears already welling up in your eyes.

Niall with the biggest smile you have ever seen him have immediately hugged you, lifting you up from the ground and twirling you around like in the movies.

"You don't know how happy I am! I'm gonna be a dad!" Niall now had tears in his eyes too.
"I need to call my mum and dad. Greg and Denise. Theo is going to have a cousin!" Niall rambled.

"Tone it down, babe. We'll tell them soon. Right now it's just us." You smiled.

"When did you find out?"

"A few weeks ago, I went to the doctors feeling sick and surprise, I'm pregnant!" You chuckled.

"I'm excited to start this new chapter of life with you. I love you."

"I love you too, Niall."

You both shared a sweet kiss before Niall leaned down to your non-visible bump.

"I love you too, little one, and I can't wait to meet you."
