Background:
Ruwa was originally from an abusive life known before as Kira, a girl who was a genius with an abusive father and unknown superstar mother. She apparently came from the Yu Yu Hakusho anime she was later told by Zoran. She was the childhood friend of Urameshi Yusuke, and ever since she was able to walk had the ability to wield Lightning at the twitch of a finger. She died in a hit and run accident, resulting in being sent to The Void where she met her watcher and teacher, Zoran. After learning the basics of her new powers she was thrust into the world of One Piece, ten years before the start of Luffy's journey. Once in the pirate world she learns that she is the daughter of Marine hero Monkey D. Garp, Sister to the Revolutionary Monkey D. Dragon, and Aunt to the eventual Pirate King Monkey D. Luffy! Of course this is after the discovery that she is a Marine trainee, a sucky one at that who is barely skating by. At least that's what everyone else thinks...
