Midnight...

Ace is resting on a bench after all the  hard training he just did. He clenched his fist and started to see some changes.

Ace: That'll do.. I guess..

Then someone put an energy drink besides Ace.

When Ace looked at the person, it was Cleo.

Cleo: Looks like you're training like hell even today..

Ace: I've got no choice. In order to win the games.

Cleo: Heh, looks like you've got a strong determination. But, once we meet at the battlefield, I will not lose to you.

Cleo left the park and headed straight back to the inn.

Ace opened the can and drank the enery drink. After that, he crushed the can in his hand.

Ace: We'll see about that.

Ace was about to go back to the inn as well, but suddenly, he saw someone in front of a cake store nearby.

The person's eyes were sparkling when she looks at the cakes.

Ace just continues on walking, headed straight at the inn.

The person's sparkling eyes were gone when Ace walked pass her.

???: I sense a greater power..

She looked at Ace and saw an aura leaking out of Ace.

???: That boy's body is stocking up high energy signatures..

The person took out somewhat a gun in her pocket and shoot at the distance.

Ace didn't heard the gunshot, for some reason.

Then suddenly, a portal opened and the person went in it.

Ace suddenly heard a honk of cars. He immediately looked behind him, and no one or no car was there.

Ace: I must be imagining things...

Ace carries on to the inn.

When he reaches the inn, he saw Julie who was just done taking a shower.

Julie: Ace? Why are you still awake?

Ace: Oh, Julie. I was done with my training, so I figured I need to take a shower. What about you?

Julie: Same. I was about to go back into my room and take a rest.

Ace: Guess I should go on ahead..

Ace walks towards the bath house. Julie looks at Ace.

Julie: He feels somewhat... different..

The next day... the second event is about to begin..

Jack: Are you all ready?!

The crowd cheered louder than ever.

Jack: Today, the second event of the Mystic games is about to begin. And today is all about intelligence.

Ace: Looks like you guys are up.

Julie: Yes.

Hansel and Gretel: Yes.

Juniper: Do your best out there. And remember.. that this event is quite the trickiest one yet.

Julie: Yes, master.

Jack: Now! Let's meet our contestants!

Teams and competitors:
Julie and the twins- Pixies Scale
Zenzo and Ramp- Heaven's Pawn
Herts and Gig- Red Raiders
Z and Relm- Berserkers

Julie and the twins are transported into a small space and there is are multiple ways to go to.

Julie: Where are we?

Jack: The competitors are transported into a puzzle most people called it a Maze. The rules are simple, the competitors must find the exit. But, there is also another way to finish the game... which is defeat all of the opponents by strapping the band in their hands. The bands are all transfered in your pockets.

Ace: So that means...

Ezra: This is a game where they need to outsmart one another in order to win or they must find the exit quick.

Juniper: So this is a decision-making event.
