Ace and Julies runs as fast as they could.

Julie: We got a really troublesome opponent there...

Ace had a serious look on his face while running.

Julie: Do you perhaps.. know him?

Ace: Barely. But now, he's come to hunt me.

Suddenly, a huge boulder was sent flying towards them.

Ace: Look out!

Ace pushed Julie out of the way.

Ace: 100% strength on!

Ace punched the boulder, successfuly breaking it. But suddenly, Kai was behind the boulder.

Kai: You can't escape!!

Kai punched Ace straight in the face.

Ace was knocked to the ground hard.

Julie: Ace!!

Julie took out her axe and tries to defend Ace from Kai.

Kai: Don't worry girl, I didn't activate my power yet, in fact, it's his own power that took him down.

Julie: I won't let you kill him!

Ace slowly stands up.

Ace: It's fine, Julie. It's between him and me.

Kai deactivated his power and walks toward the other way.

Ace: Where are you going?! The fight isn't over!!

Kai looked at Ace.

Kai: You aren't worth killing anymore. I'll let you live this time, but the next time we meet... I'll kill you for sure.

Kai disappeared in the forest.

Julie fell down on her knees.

Julie: That was close... his killing intent is way off the chart. My feet won't stop shivering in fear.

Ace: It's alright now.. he won't be bothering us... for now.

Meanwhile at the council's base...

Hansel: Thank you sir Ash, for letting me borrow the council monitor.

Ash: No problem. Just do what you gotta do.

Hansel: Understood. Now then...

Hansel gathered info on the horsemen.

Hansel: We went to the woods of lost dreams, but nothing seems to be happening there. Maybe it's a good idea to look for info in the council base instead.
After an hour of gathering info, a document caught Hansel's attention.

Hansel: "The Armageddon Archive"...

Ace and Julie took a break under a tree.

Julie: I can't believe that the horsemen would be this strong in regards to fighting.

Ace: I guess we're still lucky to be alive after all that.

Julie: Indeed. So, what are we going to do now?

Ace: For now, we should tell the others what they were after in the Sacred Library.

Julie: Now that you mentioned it, they only took a book from the library.

Ace: We should head to the library right away.

Julie: Understood.

After an hour... they finally reached the Sacred Library.

Ace: Looks like we're too late...

The library was in ruins.

Julie: They destroyed the library after they got the book in order for ys to have any lead on what they might be plotting.

Ace: Indeed. They are some seriously dangerous group...

The next day...

Hansel and the others are assembled at the council base to talk about what they know about the enemy.

Hansel: Okay... now, any info you want to share?

Ezra: The area we went are clear, the enemy doesn't seem to target the royal kingdom.

Max: I was waiting for that bastard to come too...

Hansel: Next.

Zaldo: I've investigated the ruined guild and nothing was found...

Hansel: Okay then. Nex--

Zaldo: ... but, they took the master's book for a reason.

Hansel was speechless on what Zaldo just reported.

Ace: What a coincidence... in the area we went, they also took a book and retreated.

Zaldo: So.. you engaged them in combat?

Ace: Yes... We've got no choice but to do so to protect ourselves.

Hansel suddenly stood up.

Hansel: That makes things clear then..

Julie: What do you mean?

Hansel: We need to find other books fast. Or else, we're doomed.
