Chapter Thirty: "They ship us."

Hani felt her heart shatter as she plastered a fake smile across her face, "Its okay, you don't need to say anything else. I understand."

She turned on her heels and headed towards the door, holding back tears, but was stopped by Ten grabbing her wrist.

"I'm sorry I didn't confess to you first." Ten's face broke out into a grin as Hani's mouth fell open.

"Oh my god," Hani smacked Ten's arm as he laughed loudly. "I hate you. I really do."

Ten grabbed Hani's other hand and laced their fingers together and grinned at her, "Now you see, I know that's a lie."

Hani looked down at the space between them and shook her head in embarrassment but couldn't stop the smile from creeping onto her face.

"Seriously Hani..." Ten lifted Hani's head up by her chin and looked deeply into her eyes.

"I'm sorry that I didn't confess to you earlier. It would've saved us both a lot of pain. I was so scared in case you didn't like me back...Because, let's face it, you could have anybody that you want."

"What the-"

"I'm not done. Hani, I've wanted to confess to you for so long. You're beautiful, funny, kind, selfless... I could go on about how perfect you are but I think you already know how in love I am with you. At first I thought I was just infatuated with you but now I realise I'm so in love with you, I make myself feel sick."

Hani felt her eyes tear up as she laughed lightly; she couldn't believe that this was actually happening to her of all people.

Hani stayed quiet as she felt tears fall.

Ten rubbed his thumb underneath Hani's eyes and held her face in his hands, "Hey, why're you crying?"

"I don't know...I just never expected you to feel the same way."

"Wow...no sarcastic comment? You must be really serious about your feelings." Ten shot Hani a cheeky grin as she once again hit his chest.

Hani's breath caught in her throat as Ten grabbed her hand again and held it against his chest, somehow pulling her closer to him than she already was.

They could feel each other's breath on their faces, their foreheads touching gently.

"I love you so much, Park Hani." Ten's voice was barely above a whisper, his lips close enough to Hani's that they only had to move slightly for them to kiss.

"I love you too, Teabag."

Ten grinned at Hani and then moved in.

This was it. Oh my god, this was actually happening.

But before either of them could move, the door to the dance studio burst open to reveal the Dream members, along with Taeyong and Jaehyun.

"KISS ALREADY!" Donghyuck shouted.

"Sorry! We tried to stop them." Taeyong said as he done his best to pull everyone out the room.

"Why're you lying to them? You're the one that made us come down here with you." Jaemin stated, rolling his eyes.

"Guys...a little privacy, please?" Ten sighed, making some of them leave.

Donghyuck and Chenle lagged behind the others and winked at us, "We told you both."

They ran out the room before Hani could throw anything at them and slammed the door behind them.

Hani sighed and turned back to face Ten, only to see that he was already looking at her with adoration .

"What? Is there something on my face again?"

He shook his head before moving forward and capturing Hani's lips with his own.

The kiss was like everything that every romance novel had ever said: Butterflies erupted in their stomachs, fireworks going off, heartbeats going so fast they thought they were going to pass out.

Hani and Ten heard whooping outside from the guys causing them to break apart and laugh.

"I think they ship us."

"I don't blame them. I ship us as well."

"Well I would hope so after that."

It was quiet for a while before Hani spoke again.

"So...are we dating now?"

Ten looked deep into Hani's eyes and smiled, "I thought that was obvious."

Hani pouted, making Ten squish her cheeks together.

"Of course we're dating. I feel like we always have been."

Hani smiled and put her arms around Ten's neck, "You wish."

Hani laughed before running out of the room, Ten chasing after her. For the first time in a long time both Ten and Hani were happy. And they knew that they would always have each other.

Holy fucking shit we're actually done. Well...this is a bittersweet moment😅 it took me so long to actually get around to writing this chapter because I really didn't want it to end lmaooo.
