Courting Jungkook

Chapter 8

CHAPTER EIGHT

Chaeyoung felt so happy. She's with Jungkook now in the car on the way to the mall. She was squealing internally. She's bitting her lips preventing a wide smile to form that will only pissed Jungkook more.

She knows he don't want to come with her but he still came. Although it's with some help of blackmail from his Mom, it's still a progress. He could easily say no. It's not he don't have his money now even his Mom will cut his allowance.

It was a long time ago when she discovers where Jungkook lives. It was just an accident. She came from a sleepover on one of her friends within the subdivision. She decided to walk home for she was just a couple of blocks away and since it's a good form of exercise as well.

She saw Jungkook went inside the house who look likes he just came from a morning run. His face was all sweaty and his shirt almost dripping wet but still manage to look so damn hot.

"So My Kookie, where do you want to go?" Chaeyoung asks facing Jungkook who's attention is on the road.

"Don't ask me when you're the one who drag me here."

"I didn't drag you though." Chaeyoung said with a shrug.

Jungkook suddenly stepped on the breaks that cause her to almost hit the window.

"Do you really wanted to go?" Jungkook asked her with his ceased forehead.

She puts her both hands up together in surrender and smile at the guy in front of her showing all of her teeth. "Of course! Let's go!" then acts as if zipping her mouth.

"Good girl." Jungkook said with a smirk that makes Chaeyoung to widen her eyes in surprise.

"Omo!" she gasped and cover her mouth that hang open.

"What again?"

Even though his eyes are on the road, she knows that he can see her in his peripheral vision. So she just bit her inner lips to prevent her from smiling widely.

She hums response and slightly shake her head.

She smile to herself. Her interaction with Jungkook is now improving. Although it's just a little, it's still an improvement. Before, there is no time that he will not tell her how annoying she is whenever they meet. Yes, he kinda tell her that awhile ago but he looks a little comfortable now with her.

They were now walking through the mall entrance. Chaeyoung was fidgeting her fingers, nervous on how she will start a conversation with him. She normally knows what to talk about. But today was different. He was actually with her! Like a date!

"Ah.." she started then bit her fingers playfully like she always do whenever she's nervous. She tucked in some of her hair in her ears before standing in front of him blocking his way. "Thank you for accompanying me Kookie. Though I know it's not in your will to come, you still came with me. Thank you! I am alone in the house and I have no one to bring with me here." 

Jungkook raised a brow and crossed his arms. "Like I care."

Chaeyoung forced a laugh to hide her pain. She smile weakly to him before turning to right direction and started walking.

It's okay, Chae, At least he came with you.

Jungkook saw how Chaeyoung's expression change. She was so happy a while ago and now she's like she's going to cry anytime with just the three words he said. He felt guilty for a moment. She didn't do any bad to him yet he's treating her this way.

Then he finally decided. 

Since I'm already here. Why not enjoy?

Jungkook grab her and take her somewhere his feet lead him. She was a little confused at first but smile widely eventually.
