you surprise them (day 2)

Captain America-

You slowly walked into the living room where your dad was reading the news paper enjoying his morning coffee. You smiled softly slowly going over to him sitting on the couch next to him. You noticed a photo of the midtown highs football game, one where the quarter back was in mid air catching the wining ball. under it you noticed something "oh my gosh !" you shouted taking the paper smiling widely

Steve jumped looking at his hands then the paper that was now in your hands "good morning to you too. Is the paper that interesting this morning?" he asked trying to get the paper back from you . sadly you keep moving it away till finally you stood up pacing a smile still plastered on your face." okay, (y/n) why did you take the paper ?" he asked sighing

You turned it around showing him the photo "look at this pop!" you said happily .

"it's a nice picture " he said frowning not getting why you were so excited about it

"no ! I mean yes it is but read the name under it " you exclaimed giving back the paper. You sat next to him pointing it out

"midtown high student photographer (y/n) "he said then hesitated for a second then said "Rogers " he looked at you smiling widely at you. He hugged you so tightly you thought your ribs where going to crack one he let go he stood and walked to the kitchen "this is going up on the fridge !" he called grinning

"okay ! I cant wait till everyone sees it this is amazing !" you called back grinning happily . "wait pop please don't spend all day calling your friends "you begged. There was silent from Steve you knew he was already dialing everyone in his contacts

Hawkeye-

Clint groaned hearing a lot of racket in the kitchen. He sighed slowly opening his eyes to look at his alarm clock "no, please I just fell asleep" he mumbled when he seen it was only 7 o'clock , he closed his eyes trying to fall back asleep he jumped up into action when he heard a crash.

He rushed to the kitchen his bow and arrow in hand , he swept the area then headed into the kitchen , he sighed seeing you stirring a bowl full of pancake batter , sadly most of the batter was on the floor but that made your dog lucky extremely happy . "(y/n) " he said a bit loud so you could hear him . he repeated himself a bit louder wondering if you had your hearing aids in

You turned around and smiled "hey dad ! good morning I made you some breakfast !" you smiled pointing over to the table where some burnt pancakes where . you tried to step over lucky but slipped on batter having the bowl fall to the ground along with you .

Clint rushed over quickly catching you before you hit the ground. He sighed but gave you a smile "thank you , you didn't have to peanut , I could of made it when I woke up" he said helping you stand up

"no I really wanted to , plus I found a recipe for pancakes but they kinda burned and I ran out of the batter " you said giving him a small smile "ill clean this up okay just sit back and relax please " you smiled getting the mop from the broom closet

He looked at the burnt pancakes and gulped he grabbed one and took a bit , he looked at the pancake shocked then looked back to you "wow, this is amazing peanut ! other then it tasting burnt its really good . where did you get the recipe from ?" he asked taking another bit of it then feeding some to lucky "it taste just like your moms"

You smiled widely "really? I got it from mom" you smiled tasting one as well "this is good, dad can you help me make more batter please?" you asked cleaning up the mess you made with the help of lucky

He smiled standing up going over to the cabinet getting more ingredient, you two spent the rest of the day together
