I helped Diego stuff all of his clothes into his suitcase until we finally got everything to fit.
"Thank you for the help, baby girl." Diego smiles and kisses me.
"Anything for you." I joke with him and smile back.
I pull my phone out of my back pocket and check the time.
10:52 pm
"I should go home now. You need to get some sleep. Youre leaving early." I tell him.
"Baaaby. I don't want you to go." Diego turns to me and groans.
I get close to him and give him a really long, tight hug.
"I don't want to either. Im gonna miss you." I say into his chest.

I wake up at 8 am to a text from Diego. He got on his flight an hour ago.
8:03 am Diego: I miss you already.
Me: I miss you too baby 💔 you better kill those shows for me
Diego: I will, promise
Me: text me when you land safe
Diego: okay, 3 hours left baby girl
11:21 am Diego: In chicago now
12:13 am Diego: Can I call? its kinda important
Me: sure
My phone started to ring, so of course I answered.
"Hey. Whats up?" I ask him.
"Please don't be mad." He says to me, sounding worried.
"You're scaring me."
"Okay. So. My ex is here."
"The fuck? Why?"
"Ion know. I guess she's fuckin' with one of Steven's friends. He brought her."
"Why would she do that?" I ask. I feel myself starting to get worried and angry.
"Well, we had an open relationship. I think she was fucking him when we were together and then just stuck with him." Diego explains to me.
"What the fuck? You were in an open relationship?"
"Ya."
"How did that work out?" I say with a sarcastic tone in my voice.
"It turned out that it wasn't for me, not with her anyways."
"What the fuck? Just not with her? You don't think Im down for that shit, do you? Diego. Do not tell me you think Im gonna let you run around fuckin' different bitches." My voice starts to raise.
"That's not what I meant."
"Alright. Well is that what you want? An open relationship?" I ask him. He let out a sigh.
"No. I didn't mean it like that."
"Diego. I trust you not to pull any dumb shit over there." I say to him.
"I know. I wont."
"Okay. I hope you're having fun. Just text me whenever you have time, babe."
"I will. Ill talk to you later, baby girl."
"Bye." I say and end the call.
So many thoughts were running through my head. Is that what he wants, to have sex with other girls? Thats what he's used to anyways. Is his ex gonna try to pull some shit on him? Does she even know that he has a girlfriend? Probably not.

Diego's been texting me occasionally throughout the days, updating me on what he's up to. I miss him. And I cant help but wonder what's going on with his ex. (A/N: Im just gonna include the important texts cause nobody wants to read that boring shit)
