Virgil sat on a box filled with costumes once the three of the boys made there way through the gate-door of Hell, with his head down low and his hands shoved in his patched jacket.

"Should we start then, hm?" Tom suggested.

"What Page...?" Virgil murmured.

Tom didn't respond, he simply got into his position in front of Roman, about a foot away from him.

Virgil glared, telling himself though that it must have just been that neither of the others had heard him, "Where am I in this scene?" Virgil picked at the wood of the box.

This Tom heard, "Oh! Shoot! I'm sorry, Virgil! I completely forgot that the Phantom isn't in this part!"

Virgil flinched before stifling a growl, Forgot my ass.

"Ready?" Tom turned to Roman.

Roman nodded, "Indeed, but I haven't heard this song in a few years now... I'll have to use my script- should we do blocking first?"

"It's fine and- we'll make it up as we go." Tom smiled.

"Sound alright." Roman got into a neutral stance.

"So, in this scene, Christine, or Chris, is on the rooftop with Raoul, and we are proclaiming our love." Tom stated as if it were nothing.

Virgil flinched again as the same sickening feeling he had felt earlier came back to his chest. He wanted to object but knew it would come off poorly.

"I start, jump in when you're ready with your lyrics." Tom looked directly at Roman before he begin singing his lyrics.

"No more talk of darkness, forget these wide-eyed fears," Tom began.

Virgil watched intently with burning jealousy that pricked at his chest in a confusing manor. Though it didn't really start to fire up until Tom began to get closer to Roman.

"Let me be your freedom, let
daylight dry your tears..." Tom put a hand on Roman's cheek.

Virgil could feel a sort of snap, like an elastic band in his chest as Roman began to sing, staring into Tom's eyes as if they were diamonds themselves.

"Say you'll lov-"

Virgil didn't allow the word to escape before he slid his hands to his sides, emitting a loud yelp from his mouth as the finger he had been digging into the box got a splinter right under the nail.

Roman was the first to rush over to Virgil's side, "What in the name of the stars is wrong?" He sounded a bit annoyed but his eyes showed concern.

"It's just a splinter..." Virgil looked down at his hand in a bit of embarrassment before seeing that blood was coming from the finger.

Roman frowned, grabbing Virgil's hand and holding it up to his face, inspecting the 'wound', he then looked up slightly to meet Virgil's eyes, "Is it alright if I pull the lodged piece of wood from under your nail?"

"Well, if you put it like that that makes it feel better." Virgil dead-panned.

"It will only hurt but for a moment." Roman grinned as he did a small bow.

Virgil smirked before turning his face back to a neutral one when he saw the cold gaze that Tom was shooting him, he then felt the jealousy rekindle itself, this time holding hands with that of the feeling of revenge, sucking whatever attention he could, which wasn't a lot in Virgil's case, "Yeah, sure, go for it."

Roman nodded and grabbed hold of the splinter.

Virgil couldn't help but let out a small whimper as the splinter itself was grabbed and slightly shifted under his nail but simply gritted his teeth.

"On three," Roman nodded, "One-" He pulled the splinter out before pressing his thumb against the nail to press it up against Virgil's finger.

Virgil let out a small squeak of pain while he kept himself from the urge of snapping at Roman and taking his hand away, instead he clenched his teeth, "Thanks. Roman." He didn't really know if he meant it at the moment, he was more focused on the little heart beat he could feel in his finger as Roman held onto it.

"The splinter is out...you- don't have to hold his hand anymore, by the way." Tom added as if being helpful.

Roman gave a polite smile to Tom, "I know, I'm applying pressure."

Virgil couldn't help but let a small smirk form on the corner of his mouth before turning his attention to Roman who had just sighed.

"You have got to stop getting yourself into harmful situations!" Roman rolled his eyes.

"What does that mean?" Tom inquired, taking a step towards Roman and Virgil.

Virgil shrank down with a look of humiliation on his face from the previous events, bracing himself for Roman to talk of the previous day's attack.

"He got hurt yesterday while we were rehearsing and had to go home." This was all that Roman said before going off topic, "Tom, would you mind bringing me my backpack?"

"Of course," Tom nodded and turned towards his and Roman's backpacks which were in a pile, coincidentally enough, Virgil's was to the side. Tom then bent down to grab the handle of his he backpack and place it by Roman.

"Thank you, good sir." Roman nodded.

"Yeah!" Tom smiled.

Virgil glared a bit but hid it by looking at his hurt finger instead, he then looked a bit shock when he saw some red on the edge of Roman's fingers that were holding his, "It's- bleeding?" Virgil could hardly stand the sight of too much blood.

"Yes," Roman responded simply, shuffling around in his bag with his other hand before grinning, "Found it!"

"Found what?" Tom cocked his head.

"A bandage." Roman sighed.

Virgil smirked just a tiny bit with the hunted sound of annoyance in Roman's voice. He then looked back to his finger when Roman took away his hand, causing the finger to begin to bleed and sting. Virgil winced before Roman unpeeled the back of the bandage and stuck it around Virgil's finger, "There!"

Virgil examined his finger, the bandage being black, so it was very suiting, "It matches my aesthetic."

"That it does." Roman grinned as he grabbed a tissue from his bag, wiping the blood from his hand.

"You're very casual with this kind of stuff," Virgil observed, "And prepared..."

Roman flinched before shrugging, "It's always a good thing to have preparation-  feeling better?"

Virgil shrugged, "Iffy."

"What? Do you need a kiss on your finger?" Roman mocked but was only half kidding.

Virgil rolled his eyes, flicking Roman lightly on the forehead, "Theatre Geek."

"Emo Nightmare." Roman shot back with a smirk as he stood up.

"We should get back to the scene then...?" Tom suggested.

Virgil then got up, feeling a bit more confident in himself, something that he had never particularly felt all that much, "I- think we should do a different scene."
